Rebecca Drucker, the former manager of Ricky Martin, has sued the Puerto Rican pop sensation over unpaid commissions, according to legal documents.

According to Daily Mail, Drucker's legal team has filed the lawsuit against the "She Bangs" singer in Los Angeles Central District Court, and she is seeking at least $3 million for the services she provided.

The 15-page complaint alleged that the ex-manager guided the Puerto Rican performer through "recording contracts, touring and sponsorship deals, and other professional endeavors" and cites his North American tour with Enrique Iglesias," Variety reported.

According to Billboard's 2021 Year-End Boxscore chart, Martin's 2021 North American joint tour with Iglesias grossed a total of $19 million.

With Drucker at his side, the complaint noted that Ricky Martin "made millions of dollars and therefore owes Rebecca substantial commissions." Drucker is demanding a jury trial on all issues and causes of action.

Ricky Martin's Ex-Manager Claims of Saving the Puerto Rican Singer's Career

According to the lawsuit, Rebecca Drucker worked for Ricky Martin for two "separate periods" - from 2014 to 2018 and 2020 to 2022.

After Drucker resigned in 2018, the Puerto Rican singer reportedly contacted his ex-manager again in May 2020. Drucker said Martin contacted her at a time when the singer's personal and professional life were in "absolute turmoil."

According to Drucker, she effectively got Martin's career back on track and protected him from the "consequences of his reckless indiscretions," ET Online reported.

The complaint noted that when Drucker returned to work for Martin, the ex-manager dealt with a "litany" of the singer's personal issues, including the problems with a nanny he hired for his children, nonpayment of taxes, and his substance abuse.

"Rebecca did so not only because she was his manager, but also because she thought that Martin was her dear friend," the lawsuit stated. Drucker noted that she did all those tasks even without being properly compensated, which she deserved.

In 2021, the ex-manager was reportedly promised a 10% commission on gross income under the Management Agreement. But the Puerto Rican singer allegedly did not fulfill the promise as he "completely and maliciously refused to pay" her.

"By his flagrant breach of contract, Martin betrayed Rebecca and took for granted her loyalty, dedication, and exceptional service to him," the complaint read. Drucker also claimed that Ricky Martin regularly manipulated and lied to her, leading to her resignation last April.

Ex-Manager Claims to Be in 'Toxic' Working Environment With Ricky Martin

Rebecca Drucker also alleged that Ricky Martin fostered a "toxic work environment." She then mentioned an "ugly incident" in Dubai involving the Puerto Rican singer and his representative Jose Vega in 2018, which caused her to resign from her role.

The ex-manager further noted that Ricky Martin threatened her not to speak about their business together and a non-disclosure agreement, which she refused to sign.

Drucker is reportedly seeking damages "in excess of $3M, subject to discovery and accounting, and in an amount to be proven at trial."
