Despite not winning a single game so far in Brazil's 2014 FIFA World Cup, Team Honduras is still hanging on by a slim margin.

There still remains a chance that they can advance to the knockout round if they defeat Switzerland by a large amount of goals and if France beats Ecuador. It's a very slim margin of possibility, but achievable.

Switzerland will be playing against Honduras Wednesday for a chance to play in the round of 16. Unfortunately for both teams, neither control their own destiny. These two teams met in the 2010 World Cup, when they were both paired up in Group H. They tied 0-0, and both failed to qualify for the round of 16 as Spain and Chile advanced.

Both squads are hoping history doesn't repeat itself. Which team has the edge? Latin Post.com takes a look:

Honduras

This Honduras squad ranks No. 33 in the world and their head coach is Luis Suárez.

No, not that Luis Suárez.

The Honduran team has yet to even win a World Cup game in their history after they lost to France and Ecuador this year.

The only player to score for Honduras has been striker Carlo Costly. The offense has simply not been there, which is unfortunate because the defense played very well against Ecuador and gave them a chance to win. Their opponents, Switzerland, have allowed six goals in two games, so this would be a great opportunity to start scoring. Maynor Figueroa has been leading this defensive unit.

Switzerland

Switzerland is in a similar boat as Honduras. They need to win their match and they need the French to defeat Ecuador. If Switzerland can win their game by two more goals than the Ecuadorean Team, then they can advance to the knockout round. If Switzerland does advance to the round of 16, it will be their fifth time in the nation's history and third time since 1994 that they have done so.

This Switzerland squad is ranked No. 6 in the world and they have been one of the most balanced scoring teams in this year's World Cup. All four of Switzerland's goals have been scored by four different players. After a huge 2-1 victory against Ecuador, Switzerland would lose 5-2 to France.

Predictions

Both teams have a lot to play for as this is the last group play game for each team. Honduras would love nothing more than to get their first World Cup win, but Switzerland will come out victorious, with a chance to advance to the round of 16. Switzerland wins 3-1.

Where and When to Watch

These two team will play each other at the Arena de Amazonia in Manuas, the furthest location of all arenas. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. EST on ESPN. Live streaming of the game can be seen via the WatchESPN player.
