Anya Taylor-Joy and her boyfriend, Malcolm McRae, recently had an intimate courthouse wedding in the U.S., Page Six reported on Monday.

A source told the outlet that the 26-year-old "The Queen's Gambit" star and the 27-year-old musician tied the knot in a modest courthouse ceremony in the U.S. before flying back to Australia to continue filming "Furiosa," the prequel to "Mad Max: Fury Road."

Although Anya Taylor-Joy and Malcolm McRae made their union legal, sources said they were still planning to have a bigger ceremony with more guests once they return to the U.S. for a longer time, Daily Mail reported.

On Monday, the couple was spotted in Sydney, and the actress was wearing a glimmering sparkler on her wedding finger.

Anya Taylor-Joy and Malcolm McRae Wedding After Engagement Rumors

Anya Taylor-Joy and Malcolm McRae have been rumored to be engaged after "The Northman" star was spotted last month wearing a diamond ring on her left ring finger.

The English-Argentine actress has recently fuelled engagement rumors again as she flashed the ring on her wedding finger during an outing with McRae in Sydney early this week.

Anya was spotted wearing black pants and a light brown sweater while walking hand-in-hand with her beau, who looked stylish in black pants, a printed jumper, and a leather jacket.

Anya was first photographed wearing the engagement ring at an airport last month. The photos were reportedly taken as the actress arrived in Sydney.

An eyewitness previously told the Daily Mail that Anya bounded off the plane and seemed to flash the ring at her driver before getting in a car.

"She was either showing off the ring or doing a dance move. Either way, she looked ecstatic," the source said.

Anya Taylor-Joy and Malcolm McRae's Relationship

Anya Taylor-Joy and Malcolm McRae started dating the last year, but it was unclear how their romance began.

They were first photographed kissing in New York City before the actress confirmed her relationship with the musician during her Elle interview last year. 

Anya and Malcolm went Instagram official in October when the musician shared a sweet photo of them on his account. The couple made their red carpet debut at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party in February.

Anya told a magazine earlier this year that she had finally "found someone who will happily sit in silence with me reading."

The "Last Night in Soho" star added: "We're basically 80 years old and seven at the same time and it works really well."

Anya Taylor-Joy, who won awards for her portrayal of chess prodigy Beth Harmon in Netflix's hit "The Queen's Gambit," has spent the past month with Malcolm McRae in Australia.

The actress is currently filming George Miller's new movie "Furiosa," in Sydney and various locations in Australia.
