Tiger Woods has his hands full.

While the golf star has been busy preparing for The FedEx Cup -- and he is the favorite to win -- he is still trying to save his home.

Woods has hired contractors in an effort to provide a stable foundation for his $44.5 million dollar Florida home, which is one of many houses that have been sinking into the unusually soft soil in the state. The contractors have been busy installing helical piles at the base of the Jupiter Island home in order to counteract the soil's effects while Woods has been doing everything he can to prepare for the FedEx Cup.

Tiger seeks his third FedEx Cup title of his career; the first two victories were in 2007 and 2009. All in all, the 2013 campaign has been a rather disappointing one for the 37-year-old star. Although he has made more money than anyone on the tour, he struggled mightily in his outing at the PGA Championship -- a competition he has won four times -- this time finishing in 40th place. He did have a decent sixth-place showing at the British Open and tied for fourth at the Master's, but he has gone without a major title for the fifth year in a row.

Woods' struggles on the course could be stemming from his notorious distractions off the course. There were reports last month that his girlfriend, skier Lindsey Vonn, was afraid Woods would cheat on her with ex-wife Elin Nordegren during a family vacation in Sweden. Woods and Vonn met at a charity event in 2012 and eventually started dating. Woods was married to Nordegren from 2004 until their divorce in 2010.
