Valdir Segato became well known on the internet for his big bulging muscles and injecting himself with oil to get those bigger muscles. Sadly, the TikTok star, also known as the Brazilian Hulk, died on his 55th birthday.

Segato is a native of Sao Paolo. The New York Post reported that his death may have been caused by Synthol, which is a mixture of oil, benzyl alcohol, and lidocaine. He regularly shows videos of himself injecting the concoction into his muscles, and even calls himself "Valdir Synthol" on Instagram.

He said he wanted to look like Arnold Schwarzenegger and the Hulk. In an interview in 2016, he said he already doubled the mass of his biceps, but admitted he wanted to add more. Some on the street even started calling him a monster because of his muscles. However, he was proud to be called that.

The Deadly Effects of Synthol on the Brazilian Hulk's Body

Valdir Segato made a name for himself on social media because of his huge pectoral muscles, biceps, and back muscles. However, he raised eyebrows whenever he injected himself with Synthol. Daily Mail reported that he was already warned six years ago that he might face amputation, nerve damage, and muscle disfigurement.

However, the Brazilian Hulk has now gained worldwide fame via social media due to his muscles and injections and wanted to grow his muscles even bigger. He continued down this deadly path despite being warned it might be dangerous.

Synthol has many side effects, including nerve damage, oil embolic of the pulmonary, occlusion of the pulmonary artery, myocardial infarction, cerebral stroke, and infectious complications. The concoction was seen as an alternative for bodybuilders who do not want to suffer the effects of anabolic steroids. However, they often do not take the dangers that Synthol itself has.

Synthol also does not make one stronger, it just makes the muscles look bigger. In other words, this drug is purely cosmetic.

How the Brazilian Hulk Died

Brazilian news publication Globo News reported that Segato rented a property in Ribeirao Preto, in southeast Brazil. He lived near a man named Moisés da Conceição da Silva. He told Globo News that Segato started banging on his mother's window and asked for help. He was complaining of shortness of breath and da Silva said he was "crawling through the back house and came to the front."

He was then taken to the North Emergency Care Unit (UPA), a nearby medical facility. However, while at the reception, he suffered a possible heart attack and died. According to da Silva's brother, he had previously been complaining of shortness of breath. However, they were able to save them as they managed to send him to the hospital in time. This time, however, they were not as lucky.

As a youth, he was called "skinny dog" because he looked emaciated. He then got involved in drugs before quitting and hitting the gym. He then started taking Synthol as his muscles grew bigger. This garnered him attention and was soon hooked not just to Synthol, but the fame his muscles gave him.
