The search for the 16-year-old teenager from California, Kiely Rodni, intensified on Tuesday after the police did not rule out the possibility of the teen being abducted.

Rodni began missing on Friday last week, after a campground party in Northern California, according to CNN.

According to KCRA, the authorities are treating Rodni's case as possible abduction because officials have not yet located the vehicle she used when she went to the party.

Placer County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Angela Musallam echoed the outlet's report.

Rodni's 2013 Hondo CRV is being located by the authorities aside from the teenager. Officials noted that her phone has been out of service since the party at the campground.

Another spokesperson told Fox News on Tuesday that the investigators were still "exploring all possibilities" in the California teen's case.

"There is no evidence that supports an abduction, but we are not ruling anything out... We won't rule anything out. This is a missing persons case, a search and rescue case," Placer County Sheriff Troy Sander said on Tuesday.

The sheriff's office confirmed that multiple agencies are now part of the missing teen's probe.

The Placer County Sheriff's Office is now coordinating with the California Highway Patrol, Truckee Police, FBI, and the Nevada Sheriff's Office.

California Missing Teen Kiely Rodney

Kiely Rodni went missing o Friday night after she attended a party at the Prosser Family Campground.

Musallam said in a statement on Tuesday that there were between 200 and 200 juveniles at the party, which is located in a wooded area.

Rodni was last seen around 12:30 a.m. Saturday.

Reports also claimed that the teenagers were using alcohol and drugs at the party.

Rodni's friend and another recent graduate claimed that Kiely had enough drinks at the party to become drunk. She noted that she believes the California teen would have driven under the circumstance.

Smith noted that she thought Rodni would stay at the campground since it was late and everybody would stay for the night. Smith reportedly departed the venue a few minutes before the California teen went missing.

"I remember we were partying together. She was having fun. She seemed really happy - she was like normal, just on an adrenaline rush. Saying 'Hi' to everybody," Smith recalled.

Musallam urged anyone who was at the party to come forward, as they seek more information regarding Rodni's case.

California Missing Teen: Kiely Rodni's Mom Reveals Text Message With Her Daughter Before She Went Missing

The mother of the missing California teen, Kiely Rodni, revealed the last text message exchange she had with the teen before she went missing.

According to Lindsey Rodni-Nieman, her daughter texted her on late Friday notifying her that she was about to leave the party in 45 minutes, and would be coming "Straight home."

The mother said that she told Rodni to be safe and she loved her, with her daughter replying: "OK, mom, I love you too."

The mother claimed that she realized something went wrong when she woke up and her daughter was not yet home and her car was missing from their driveway.

"My head is all over the place and I'm terrified. Bad thoughts are very strong and hard to keep at bay," Rodni-Nieman said, adding that she is still hoping that they will find the missing California teen and that she will come home.
