Joe Biden Health Condition: Netizens Worried Over President's Continuous Coughing After COVID-19 Isolation
President Joe Biden continued his travel commitments after he tested negative for COVID-19 on Sunday. However, many people have seemed to notice something unusual despite his recovery.
During a White House press conference about passing the CHIPS bill Tuesday, netizens expressed concern and discomfort over Biden's excessive coughing, a known COVID-19 symptom.
Joe Biden ended his COVID-19 isolation on Sunday after a rare occurrence of rebound positivity while on treatment for Paxlovid, an aggressive anti-viral drug to treat the virus.
Joe Biden Health Condition Update: Is the President Still Exhibiting COVID-19 Symptoms?
Joe Biden's health sparked worry on Twitter after exhibiting some worrying signs on live television. Many were worried that the president had been excessively coughing throughout his speech and then shaking hands with several lawmakers afterward, Fox News reported.
The Washington Free Beacon Twitter account has posted videos of the president repeatedly coughing in his speech and touching his glasses and face afterward. Reports said he could barely talk properly as he was coughing so much during his speech.
"President Joe Biden sounds like his lungs are gonna come out of his chest he's coughing so much," conservative commentator Carmine Sabia said.
The comments did not solely come from the right wing. Even known Democratic journalist Aaron Rupar noted that Joe Biden should have shortened his speech because of the coughing.
To make matters even more worrying, others had vocally expressed their concerns online when the president seemed mentally disoriented after the speech.

Is Joe Biden's Health Deteriorating?
Joe Biden's health goes under the microscope as netizens notice his mental disorientation.
After covering his mouth with his hands while coughing during the entire speech, Biden proceeded to shake hands with Democratic leaders using his unsanitized hands, which experts claim might be a way to spread the virus.
After the speech, the president shook New York Senator Chuck Schumer's hand. Moments later, he extended his hand again to Schumer, attempting another handshake.
Many were confused with Biden's strange behavior after the speech, even pointing out that he was lost at the moment.
"Biden is completely lost and forgets where he is AGAIN," The New York Times columnist Tim Young quipped.
Tea Party Patriots Action, the organization calling for Biden's impeachment, dropped a heavier allegation of his health condition.
The group said Biden was not mentally fit to serve as president after Biden shook Schumer's hands and then forgot that he just shook hands with Schumer seconds later.
On Sunday, Presidential Physician Dr. Kevin O'Connor said Biden can "safely return to public engagement and presidential travel," guaranteeing he was safe from the virus.
Biden tested positive for the COVID-19 twice since late July. The president was isolated in the White House and took a five-day Paxlovid treatment course.
Joe Biden tested negative after the treatment but tested positive again soon after. The president then continued to test positive for the virus until getting those two straight negative results.
O'Connor said the Paxlovid treatment is possible for "rebound positivity," as some patients who take Paxlovid can test positive again after finishing the treatment.
However, while there are risks of a "Paxlovid rebound," he noted that the treatment drastically lowers the risk of hospitalization.
