Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith might be ready to move on from the infamous Oscars slap that involved comedian Chris Rock, as the couple was spotted together over the weekend.

Will and Jada were spotted in Malibu on Saturday, as they appeared to enjoy the afternoon together that day, Fox News reported. The two reportedly went to Nobu, a trendy sushi spot located on the Pacific Coast Highway.

Will was seen wearing a navy-blue golf shirt with a matching baseball cap and trousers. Meanwhile, Jada Pinkett Smith looked fabulous in a black outfit with a red flannel shirt tied around her waist. Jada then leveled up her outfit with sunglasses and hoop earrings.

The photo taken showed Jada following Smith while her hands gently hold onto the "King Richard" star's waist.

It was the first time Will and Jada were spotted outside after the infamous Oscars slap. It can be recalled that the two stayed out of the spotlight after they were placed under fire when Will slapped Chris Rock for the joke he made about his wife.

Will Smith's Apology to Chris Rock

Weeks before Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith were spotted in Malibu, California, the "Men in Black" star took to his YouTube and Instagram accounts to offer to extend his apology to Chris Rock and his family members.

In the video, Smith explained that he was not able to ask for an apology from Rock when he accepted his award, claiming that he was "fogged out" and "fuzzy" after he slapped the comedian.

Will also apologized to Rock's mom, contending that he did not realize how many people got hurt after the incident.

The "Aladdin" star also underscored that Jada Pinkett Smith has nothing to do with the way he acted during this year's Oscars, pointing out that what he did was his own choice, experience, and history with the comedian.

Smith also noted that he is ready to talk to Rock whenever he is ready, but a spokesperson for Chris said that the "Death of a Funeral" star is not yet willing to settle his beef with Will.

Oscars Producer Comments on Will Smith's Apology Video

Last week, Oscars producer Will Packer commented on Wil Smith's apology video.

When ET asked about what he thought of the actor's post, Packer said that he loved Smith being "transparent" with what he is going on.

"Clearly he is going through his own personal rehabilitation. I'm pulling for him. I'm pulling for him to continue his own process, but I think this is for him. He needs to do it. I'm wishing you the best, brother," Packer underscored.

Will Smith posted his apology video on both his Instagram and YouTube accounts.
