A 911 call revealed how onlookers reacted when Anne Heche's car crashed into a house in a Los Angeles neighborhood.

According to TMZ, the 911 call was made by a neighbor of the home Anne crashed into. The caller reportedly told the dispatcher that a car went through the home "very fast" without knowing that Heche was the one inside the vehicle.

The call got more desperate when the car started to be surrounded by smoke. Sirens were heard in the background as the caller said a fire had broken out.

Some people can be heard yelling in the background that someone was in trouble. There was also more shouting about someone being trapped in the vehicle.

As the fire quickly spread, onlookers reportedly worked desperately to get the actress out, with the caller even working on getting a water hose to the crash scene.

Anne Heche's car crashed into the home on August 5. New video footage acquired by Fox News showed what happened to the house in the aftermath of the tragedy.

The video, which the Los Angeles Police Department provided, showed officers standing in what used to be a doorway with the sky visible through the ceiling between charred wooden beams.

Lynne Mishele, who rented the house, was seen looking through the wreckage in an attempt to find salvageable items.

Mishele added that the entire situation was "tragic." She said she was sending love to everyone involved.

Mishele, who was in the backyard at the time of the crash, previously thanked those who supported her.

"It's really truly overwhelming. You guys have really impacted my life in a very profound way. So thank you so much to everybody and I will keep you updated," she said in a separate video.

A fund set up for Mishele to assist her in her financial struggles has already raised $150,000. Mishele had been treated for minor injuries after she tried to remove her pets from the burning house.

Anne Heche Death

Anne Heche crashed into a two-story home in the Mar Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles. Authorities said the collision caused a "heavy fire" that burned the actress badly.

Heche remained stable following the accident, but her health deteriorated after a few days. A spokesperson for the actress said she fell into a coma and suffered a "significant pulmonary injury" that required mechanical ventilation. The spokesperson added that Heche's burns required "surgical intervention."

On Thursday night, the spokesperson said the actress suffered a "severe anoxic brain injury" and was "not expected to survive."

Representatives for Heche confirmed on Friday afternoon that she was brain dead. Under California law, the actress' condition is considered legally dead.

Anne Heche was taken off life support on Sunday. It was reported that a medical team worked to harvest some of her organs for donation.
