Meghan Markle, Prince Harry Try to Create 'Woke' Royal Family; Duchess of Sussex 'Bitter' at Failed Attempt, Expert Claims
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry reportedly tried to create "an alternative, woke royal family," according to a royal commentator and author.
Royal biographer Angela Levin noted in a Daily Mail report that the Duchess of Sussex has "enormous bitterness" that she was not able to "modernize" the royal family.
Levin further claimed that after stepping down from their royal duties, the Sussex couple were very determined to show the royal family that "their way is the best way."
Levin also said that Markle does not like losing and likes to win, adding that the Duchess of Sussex resents the royal family for not letting her modernize it.
The royal biographer said she could be wrong with her impressions but added that the two were using their royal titles "very tightly."
Levin's speculations came after Markle announced through their spokesperson that they would be returning to the U.K. this September for two charities.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry on 'Woke' Royal Family
Levin noted that the Oprah Winfrey interview with Harry and Markle, as well as the Duke of Sussex's books, were created to "smash the royal family and the monarchy," according to a Mirror News report.
Levin said that she believes the Sussex couple have taken each opportunity in their attempts to discredit the royal family.
Harry has an upcoming memoir worth $20 million, which was believed would give the royal family members to worry about. However, there have been reports that the publishing date has been pushed back. It was supposed to be published in the fall of this year,
A New York publishing source noted that the prince's memoir is "juicy, for sure."
New York Post reported that another publishing source noted that the book contains new stories Harry has not spoken about before, mainly about the past and his childhood, which should make the royal family "nervous."
Sussex Couple Returning in the U.K.
Markle and Harry are set to return to the U.K. in early September for charity events and will travel to Germany to start the next year's Invictus Games in Dusseldorf, according to a People report.
On September 5, the Sussex couple will travel to Manchester for the One Young World Summit and will be heading to Germany the following day. They will then return to the U.K. for the Well Child Awards on September 8.
In June, the two visited the U.K. in light of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations, wherein they also introduced their daughter Lilibet to the monarch and her grandfather Prince Charles.
One source called the visit an "emotional" meeting with the Prince of Wales being overjoyed.
Queen Elizabeth will be in Balmoral for her scheduled yearly summer break.
