A Missouri woman, who allegedly killed her husband while he was sleeping, has disappeared while out on pretrial bond.

According to People, Dawn Renee Wynn, 49, was out on bond awaiting a murder trial relating to the death of her 51-year-old husband, Harold Lee Wynn. In a press release, the McDonald County Sheriff's Office said Wynn failed to check in as part of her conditional pretrial release.

Part of her bond conditions was that she will stay with her mother in Pea Ridge, Arkansas. Wynn has not been seen in the area for several days. She has pleaded not guilty to the murder charge.

McDonald County Sheriff Rob Evenson told KOAM News that the Missouri woman had left a suicide note before she disappeared. The sheriff's office is now asking for the public's assistance in finding her.

"Please be on the lookout for Dawn Wynn... She should be considered dangerous and could be armed," it said in its press release.

The McDonald County Sheriff's Office urged anyone with information regarding Dawn Renee Wynn's whereabouts to call them at 417-223-4318.

Missouri Woman Accused of Murdering Her Husband

In June, a McDonald County judge ordered Dawn Renee Wynn to stand trial on the charges relating to the murder of her husband.

According to The Joplin Globe, Judge John LePage decided at the end of the preliminary hearing early in June that there was probable cause for the Missouri woman to stand trial on counts of second-degree murder and armed criminal action.

Wynn said she had been sleeping next to her husband when he was shot in the back of the head inside their fifth-wheel camper on Pleasant Grove Road near Anderson.

Wynn told deputies that the sound of a gunshot awakened her and something "brushing" her face. The Missouri woman said she called 911 to report the shooting after seeing blood and her husband.

She also told the police officers that her two children were asleep in the camper's living room area at the time and that the gun was placed on the bottommost shelf of a bookcase at the head of the bed.

Police found a .40-caliber semi-automatic pistol on the bed between her husband's head and the pillow she reportedly was asleep on. According to the affidavit, the gun had a live round in its chamber.

In the affidavit, Deputy Donavon Pierson said that Harold Wynn was found lying partly on his back and partly on his right side. He was also reportedly facing a wall, with his right arm tucked under his body and his left arm beneath a blanket and sheet.

Authorities believed that Wynn was the shooter. Based on the position of Harold's body and the gun's location where it had been stored, Pierson said he did not find anything that would cause the gun to discharge and its trigger system to be activated.

He added that there was no surface that could discharge a "striker-fired pistol with drop-safe mechanisms in place." Police arrested the Missouri woman the same day of the shooting and charged her.

Daughter of Missouri Woman Reacts to Suicide Note

Dawn Renee Wynn's daughter, Savannah Wynn, told Law & Crime that her mother was too much of a "coward" to kill herself after being reported that the Missouri woman left a suicide note.

Savannah said she believed authorities when they told her that her mother shot her father in the back of his head while they were sleeping. Savannah noted that she believed her mother was using the "suicide note" as a diversion while calling her mother a "coward" and "too selfish."

She added that Wynn was a danger to others and could not be trusted. Dawn Renee Wynn's daughter recalled her mom as someone verbally and psychologically abusive when they were growing up.

Savannah, who grew up with four brothers, said the Missouri mom "took over everything" and pitted them against their father.
