Growing up, she experienced bullying, prompting her to be home-schooled instead of going to her in-person classes. She claimed that she experienced being jumped by multiple girls while she was in the restroom.

She Began Making Music at Age 11

Becky G can be considered a musical genius because she wrote her first song at the age of 11. She then learned to play the guitar at the age of 13.

Her career was catapulted when one of her several cover songs, which was posted on YouTube, caught the attention of producer, Luke. This opportunity made Becky G sign with RCA records. Her first EP entitled "Play it Again" was released in 2013.

Her talent also made her tour with several singers such as Katy Perry, Demi Lovato, and Fifth Harmony.
