Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin Divorce Update: Stars Might Consider Conscious Coupling
After their famous "conscious uncoupling" nearly three months ago, it has recently been reported that Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin might consider getting back together.
The couple has been spotted together in public, making many wonder whether they would reunite one day to save their 10-year marriage. Moreover, they certainly looked like a couple, as they were seen enjoying an intimate dinner in Los Angeles, California.
According to People, the 41-year-old actress never wanted to get divorced in the first place and "They haven't made any concrete decision to get back together, but it's a possibility," a friend of Paltrow's claimed. "They're loving time together with and without the kids."
"She didn't want to end the marriage. He's been a great father and that has helped keep the flame alive," another source revealed. "They are getting along really well."
In addition, The Mirror reported that the pair is already in the process of re-coupling. "It's true they had problems but in the weirdest way this 'conscious uncoupling' situation has relieved the pressure on them," a friend said. "Gwyneth had ground rules about not immediately dating, respecting each other, keeping things happy for their two children and communicating throughout but it seems to have acted as a wake-up call."
"Chris still lives with her, they are amazingly lovey-dovey together and she still wears her wedding ring," the insider added. "They may have consciously uncoupled a few months ago -- but they seem to be re-coupling now. No one will be surprised if they get back together."
Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin previously announced their split with a statement titled "Conscious Uncoupling" on the actress' lifestyle website GOOP. "It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate. We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate. We are, however, and always will be a family, and in many ways we are closer than we have ever been. We have always conducted our relationship privately, and we hope that as we consciously uncouple and co-parent, we will be able to continue in the same manner. Love, Gwyneth & Chris," read the statement.
