Wednesday's new "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" trailer shows gamers what's in store for the latest release of the popular war/shooting game.

The trailer, released by Activision, shows some of the advanced technology gamers will be able to use while trying to eliminate their enemies.

A new smart grenade, the "Threat Detection Grenade," will allow users to see enemies in the explosion's blast radius -- even enemies hiding behind objects.

A new shield will help protect you when you go into an active war zone. This "remotely synced blast shield" pops up when you go into an area experiencing gunfire and automatically disables itself when you're back safely behind a wall or there's no active gunfire.

New weapons and vehicles also will be available, according to Glen Schofield of Sledgehammer Games, Advanced Warfare's developer. Guns will have powerful and unbreakable beams of light. Hoverbikes and hovertanks will be available.

The video also unveils exoskeletons that give superhuman strength, speed and climbing. You'll even be able to make the world appear to be going in super-slow-motion.

Schofield stresses that operating the exoskeltons will be as easy as pressing a button.

"Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" is set in the year 2054, so having all these new technologies makes sense. It's good that developers aren't going overboard and making it unrealistic.

Separately, the multiplayer mode teams' names have been announced as the Sentinel and Atlas teams.

The game comes out in November for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
