Last week, Montserrat discovered she had a half-sister, and Graciela felt rejected by her children. Ezequiel is told he has to be honest with Carlota, which is something he has been struggling with. (Catch up here.)

Here's what to expect in episodes 169 to 173:

Episode 169: Amelia asks Fabiola if she made the mistake of giving Graciela money. Jose Luis tells Rosario to pack up her stuff and leave immediately. Carlota wants to know what Ezequiel is hiding. Ignacio warned her that Ezequiel was not being honest with her.

Episode 170: Jose Luis asks Maria if Alejandro slept with her, to which she replied that the two have always been lovers. Jose Luis is determined to tell Montserrat what is going on between Alejandro and Maria.

Episode 171: Jose Luis tells Maria that there's a way to prove that Alejandro is her lover -- Montserrat has to catch them together. Laurito tells Jose Luis that he is free to do what he wants, including leave with Alejandro.

Episode 172: Maria makes Alejandro believe that she is in trouble. When he nears to help her, she hits him over the head. She puts him in her head, and she takes advantage of him. At that very moment Montserrat walks in. Maria tells Montserrat to leave her and Alejandro alone.

Episode 173: Alejandro arrives to rescue Montserrat when Jose Luis and Victor draw guns. Anselmo yells at them and tells them all to put down their weapons. Jose Luis tells Montserrat that though before he would have sacrificed everything to make her happy, now he will work just as hard to make her the most unhappy woman on Earth.
