The one-time stimulus check payments in California are formally known as Middle-Class Tax Refunds. The program range from $200 to $1,050, depending on the filing status and income report from your 2020 California tax return.

Individual filers with $250,000 in 2020 tax return are also qualified. To be qualified as joint filers, you must have an income tax return of $500,000 or less.
California residents can also expect a direct deposit payment if they have previously received a Golden State Stimulus payment in 2021.
The Franchise Tax Board will receive their payments from October 28 to November 14 for people who did not previously receive a GSS payment through direct deposit.
FTB noted that direct deposit payments usually show up in your bank account within three to five business days from the issue date.
