A stray dog with a human head hanging out of its mouth was seen on video running down a street in Mexico's Zacatecas state, plagued by Mexican drug cartels.
According to New York Post, shocking videos shared on social media show the dog holding the human head by the neck and running along a dark street at night, possibly taking it somewhere to eat it.

An unnamed law enforcement official told Fox News that the corpse's head and other body parts were left in an ATM booth in Monte Escobedo town on Wednesday.
Officials said a note referring to a Mexican drug cartel was left next to the body parts. The message was likely intended to intimidate or taunt their rivals or authorities.
The stray dog reportedly grabbed the human head and took off before authorities could secure the scene. Police reportedly had to pry the human head out of the hungry dog's mouth. The victim has not yet been identified.
15 Bullet-Riddled Bodies Found in Mexico's Zacatecas State
Zacatecas is reportedly one of the most violent states in Mexico due to disputes between Mexican drug cartels. Last month, at least 15 corpses were found in the state.
Eight bodies wrapped in blankets were discovered on a road that leads to the Benito Juarez community. Authorities said the bodies bore signs of torture and were riddled with bullet wounds.
Police also found seven bodies dressed in tactical clothing in a mountain area of Jerez municipality. The bodies, all identified as male, were discovered on a dirt road in a mountainous area that leads to the Los Motas ranch.
The corpses were also found to be riddled with bullets. According to local reports, some of the clothing bore the initials of a drug cartel.
Mexican Drug Cartels Operating in Mexico's Zacatecas State
Zacatecas has seen bloody turf wars between Mexican drug cartels in recent years. The Jalisco cartel, Sinaloa cartel, Gulf Cartel, Northeast Cartel, and Los Talibanes are the drug cartels reportedly operating in the area.
All five crime organizations are involved in the operations of trafficking fentanyl and other illegal drugs. Security experts said a wave of violence had enveloped the streets of Zacatecas as Mexican drug cartels fought for control of territory.
They noted that Zacatecas was not only an important market for drug dealing but also crucial in transporting fentanyl from Mexico's South Pacific ports to the U.S. border. The state reportedly links the center and west of Mexico to the American border, a key territory for drug-trafficking routes.
Mexican drug cartels usually display dead bodies or human body parts publicly not only to intimidate their rivals or authorities but also to scare residents.
The Jalisco New Generation Cartel or Cartel de Jalisco Nueva Generacion (CJNG) is currently the Sinaloa cartel's main rival. The Jalisco cartel is being led by Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, known by his alias "El Mencho."
The Sinaloa Cartel is reportedly not a hierarchical structure as its leaders like Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman and Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada all maintained their own separate but cooperating organizations.
