Without explanation, Jennifer Lopez's social media accounts went dark on Tuesday, and all her previous posts on her Instagram account have been deleted.

As of late Tuesday, the Latina singer, actor, and producer's Instagram no longer features any posts and instead features a solid black image as her profile photo.

Her Instagram account has 226 million followers. According to Variety, Lopez switched her profile images on Twitter (45.5 million followers) and TikTok (15.4 million followers) to black, but her previous posts on these platforms are still visible.

On Facebook (60 million followers), Lopez updated her profile picture and cover photo with an image of her name in script. There were no new postings on her TikTok, Twitter, and Facebook accounts.

Jennifer Lopez May Be Announcing Something Big Soon on Instagram

Jennifer Lopez's social media accounts turning black can be a hint at something big. Since other famous people have taken similar actions before unveiling major film or music projects, the multitalented Latina artist may also be working on something significant.

Lopez has several highly-anticipated movie projects scheduled for next year, including the Netflix thriller "The Mother" and the Prime Video romantic comedy "Shotgun Wedding."

Lopez has kept a relatively low profile since returning to Los Angeles after her two weddings and honeymoons with Ben Affleck this summer.

They did make their first red carpet appearance as husband and wife last month at the Ralph Lauren spring/summer 2023 fashion show in San Marino, California.

Earlier this week, the "Jenny From the Block" singer shared a video of herself hugging her husband on TikTok, Harpers BAZAAR reported.

The couple's joy can be seen in the clip as they listen to the trending baby voice sound, which said: "Guys, I did it. I found the person that makes me the happiest I have ever been."

Jennifer Lopez's 'This Is Me... Then' Is Celebrating Its 20th Anniversary

Jennifer Lopez's social media accounts took on a dramatically new appearance days before the 20th anniversary of her hit album, "This Is Me... Then."

Her fans were ecstatic at the thought that she was finishing up an important announcement, possibly a follow-up to that album. After all, her most recent was A.K.A. in 2014.

Yahoo reported that Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, and other artists had done the same before releasing a new album or tour. Lopez's representatives has yet to comment on this matter.

When "This Is Me... Then" album was released in November 25, 2002, it became an international hit. Featuring the singles "Jenny From the Block," "All I Have," and "I am Glad," Lopez's third studio album was a huge success. She has said it is her favorite from all her albums.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were engaged the same month the album hit stores. Since then, they have been photographed together everywhere, including riding in a carriage while shooting their movie "Jersey Girl," which was a huge box office flop.

Lopez has also dedicated the album to Affleck, who played her boyfriend in her "Jenny From the Block" video. Their supposed first wedding was scheduled for September 2003, but days before they said "I do," they called off the ceremony due to "excessive media attention."

The couple rekindled their romance in April last year, shortly after the Latina superstar ended things with ex-fiance Alex Rodriguez. After one year of dating, the "Batman" actor popped the question for a second time.
