A Powerball ticket that holds the right to claim a $92.2 million jackpot remained unclaimed for nearly a week since the winning numbers were drawn.

According to The Sun, the life-changing ticket was sold in northeast Kansas last Saturday, with the winning numbers 7, 28, 62, 63, 64 with the Powerball 10.

Kansas Lottery said the winner, who has yet to come forward, drew the Powerball winning numbers from a store in one of northeast Kansas' 21 counties.

These counties are Atchison, Brown, Marshall, Nemaha, Doniphan, Riley, Pottawatomie, Jackson, Geary, Jefferson, Leavenworth, Johnson, Osage, Douglas, Franklin, Shawnee, Miami, Morris, Northern Lyon County, Wabaunsee, and Wyandotte.

The winning ticket holder can claim the full $92.2 million in annualized payments over 30 years or receive the cash value worth $47.3 million in a single lump sum payment.

The lucky winner can also remain anonymous when claiming the grand prize. The lottery department in Kansas said the winning ticket is just one of many unclaimed prizes in the state.

There are reportedly dozens of unclaimed prizes worth a few thousand to over $50,000, and winners have one full year to claim their prize.

Powerball Warning: More Prizes Are About to Expire

A lottery player from Indiana who won the $2 million Powerball on June 18 is similarly running out of time. The ticket is reportedly set to expire on December 15. It was sold at the McClure Oil gas station in Howard County.

The winning numbers are 10-19-40-45-58 with the Powerball 25. Another lotto player in Pennsylvania, who bought a Cash 5 winning ticket drawn last December, was also unaware that the $1.65 million prize is about to expire in a few weeks.

Drawn on December 16, 2021, the winning numbers were 8, 12, 18, 31, and 35. According to WATE, the winning ticket, which was sold at Jak Petroleum Company LLC in Armstrong County, must be claimed by December 16 this year, or the prizes go back into the state.

Lottery prizes that are unclaimed or expired reportedly remain in the Lottery Fund and are used to support programs for older citizens.

Powerball Jackpot Increases to $48 Million

With no winner during the $32 million drawing Wednesday night, the Powerball jackpot increased to an estimated $48 million for Saturday night's drawing, November 26. The winning numbers for the drawing held on November 23 are 1, 2, 31, 39, 66, and the Powerball is 25.

American Top 40 reported the Powerball's grand prize reset to $20 million after the player in Kansas won the $92.2 million drawing last November 19.

On November 7, the Powerball jackpot reached $2.04 billion after more than 30 draws without winners in the past three months. The draw had one winner in Southern California taking home the record-setting jackpot.

The Powerball winning numbers drawn on November 7 were 10, 33, 41, 47, 56, and the red Powerball was 10. However, the winner has not come forward yet.
