Argentina Airline Adds 2 More Flights to Qatar for Argentina vs. France Final

Given how crazy Argentina became after Argentina defeated Croatia, Argentinian airline Aerolíneas Argentinas decided to add two more flights to Qatar. The Associated Press reported that both flights quickly sold out.

Both flights leave Argentina from Buenos Aires and will have Doha as their port of entry. The first flight, which leaves Buenos Aires on Friday morning, sold out in less than 30 minutes. Meanwhile, the second flight leaves Buenos Aires on Friday night, and it only went on sale last Wednesday. It, too, sold out, but within a couple of hours.

These flights are not cheap, as roundtrip tickets cost roughly around 2 million pesos (more than $11,000). Flights are also quite long, as it takes 19 hours to get from Buenos Aires to Doha. There is also a refueling stop in Rome. So far, the airline has provided a total of 12 flights for the World Cup.

The highly-anticipated final match will happen at the Lusail Stadium in Doha, Qatar on Sunday.
