Prince William sees his relationship with his younger brother Prince Harry to be "over," according to a friend of William and Kate.

The same friend, who also used to be close to Harry, said that it does not make a great deal of difference what is in the films released this week.

The person added that there is a general feeling that it will be anything they have not said before. He said the damage to the "fraternal friendship" is most definitely done.

The strain in the brothers' relationship was rooted in William's dismay at Harry publicizing the issues.

The friend said that William "will never forgive Harry" for divulging his and Kate's secrets, adding that it was "sickening" to the Prince of Wales that his brother is "now selling them out to the media."

Meanwhile, Harry's father, King Charles, also expresses a sense of "sadness." A friend of the King and Camilla said that Charles can only "keep calm and carry on."

Sources at Buckingham Palace made it clear that they will push back against "provable inaccuracies."

Prince William and Prince Harry's Relationship

A Daily Mail insider expressed the same sentiments, with the friend saying that William is a "very private man" and what Harry is doing is the "anathema of everything he believes."

The insider said many believe that the relationship between the two brothers may be beyond repair, and that "too much water has gone under the bridge."

One source noted that Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have served as president and vice president of the Queen's Commonwealth Trust. The source said they were happy to be connected with it until "they quit their jobs to make money."

The video diaries were also seen as an "appalling betrayal of trust."

Harry and Markle hope that the royal family would watch the show, and the Sussexes are reportedly optimistic that it could pave the way to a royal reconciliation.

A royal source said that the Sussex couple knows that nothing the royal family speaks about will be addressed in public.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Netflix Docuseries

Harry has accused the royal of having a "huge level of unconscious bias" in the first three episodes of the docuseries.

Markle also claimed that she received little support from Buckingham Palace as a new royal bride. She added that there were no etiquette classes and was reduced to searching the national anthem on Google.

Markle also said that she was afraid of wearing colorful clothes for fear that she might "overshadow" the Queen.

However, the Duchess of Sussex's claims were dismissed by sources, who said that Markle was guided by the late Queen's trusted deputy private secretary and her ladies-in-waiting.

One royal expert called the Sussexes "hypocrites" for publicizing intimate details of their life. However, the couple's spokesman said it was "never about privacy."

It was reported that the royal family's conflict started with Markle's money demands and "pressure" on the family to elevate Harry in the hierarchy.

One source said the Duke of Sussex was never worried about money or status until Markle.
