Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shed light on several issues they are facing, including their fiery rift with the royal family, in the last three episodes of their Netflix docuseries.

The last three episodes focused more on the relationship strain the Duke of Sussex has with his relatives, especially when they decided to step back from their royal duties and announced that they would be living in California.

Some of the touched topics in the docuseries include Markle's relationship with the late Queen, saying that Queen Elizabeth was "great."

She added that she was glad to have a "grandmotherly" figure after being close to her grandmother. The Sussex couple also dived right into the issue of their relationship with the royal family.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Relationship With Royal Family

The Sussex couple noted that their popularity within the royal household caused problems at the palace. Prince Harry said his wife's popularity caused quite a stir in the palace, noting similarities with his mother, Princess Diana.

The Duke of Sussex noted that it shifts the balance and upsets people when someone who should be in the "supporting act is then stealing the limelight."

Prince Harry then cited an example, saying one time, Meghan Markle had been at the front and center of every paper while Kate Middleton was on the side.

Harry recalled that Markle noted that "it's not my fault," to which Harry replied that he knew and that his mother, Diana, "felt the same way." The Duke of Sussex then went on to say that from that point, Markle's press coverage became more and more negative.

Meghan Markle' Fed to The Wolves'

Meghan Markle said in their Netflix docuseries that she was "fed to the wolves." She noted that she did everything to make the royal family "proud." However, at one point, "the bubble burst," and there was a surge of negative media coverage.

"I realized that I wasn't just being thrown to the wolves. I was being fed to the wolves," the Duchess of Sussex noted.

Prince Harry then said he believed that the press understood that the palace will not protect his wife once a flood of negative media coverage came.

Prince Harry and Prince William Fighting

Prince Harry discussed in one episode how he traveled to the royal residence in Sandringham for a meeting to discuss their future involvement with royal life in January 2020.

The duke said he tried to make a "half-in, half-out" arrangement with the royal family. However, he noted that it became very clear to him that it was not up for discussion or debate.

Harry said his brother Prince William screamed and shouted at him, while his father said things that "just simply weren't true," and his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, just sat there and took it all in.

Harry also recalled a joint statement issued after the meeting, in which he and his brother denied a newspaper story, alleging that William's "bullying attitude caused a rift in the royal family."

The Duke of Sussex claimed he was unaware of the statement, adding that no one asked his permission to put his name on "a statement like that."

"They were happy to lie to protect my brother, and yet for three years they were never willing to tell the truth to protect us," Harry noted.

Meghan Markle also commented on the Sandringham meeting, saying she was not invited to "have a seat at the table." The meeting was arranged for a day when Markle will be back in Vancouver with Archie.

The last three episodes of the Netflix documentary series "Harry & Meghan" were released Thursday. The first three episodes were released last week.
