It's been months since Angelique Boyer and Jose Alberto Castro split up.

The two have tried to move on, and it seems Castro might be interested in another telenovela star, Ariadne Diaz, 27.

Sources say that Castro is mesmerized by her beauty, and he has taken notice of her on their new project, "La Malquerida," TV y Novelas noted. If it is true, then it would be very similar to what happened with Angelique Boyer, who he reportedly fell in love with while filming "Teresa."

Diaz came out of a relationship recently. And though El Güero is showing kindness to Diaz, the young actress has continued to be strictly professional, according to La Mañana.

Boyer, on the other hand, continues to be linked to her "Lo Que La Vida Me Robó" co-star, Sebastián Rulli. Though the two keep denying the rumors, sources say that there have been lots of little moments between the two. Their co-stars have also said there is no truth to this rumor.

At the premiere of "La Malquerida," Castro showed that he was 40 pounds lighter. Though he said it was because his doctor recommended it, media outlets speculated that it was because of his split from Boyer. He wouldn't even speak about that part of his life, saying it was private.

His new telenovela focuses on a mother and daughter who love the same man. It took Castro about 15 years to be able to adapt the story, which was written by Jacinto Benavente 101 years ago.

"I wanted to tell this story for the past 15 years," he said. "After removing, treating, storing in a drawer, dusting it every two years, I am now able to adapt the story into a telenovela format with the help of writer Ximena Suarez."
