Russia's former president and current chief advisor to Russian President Vladimir Putin, Dmitry Medvedev, made some bonkers predictions for 2023 that made many raise eyebrows as it included another U.S. Civil War and Texas becoming allies with Mexico.

Medvedev took to Twitter to share his "humble contribution" to what he thinks will happen this coming year. Fox News reported that he tweeted that Civil War will break out in the United States and that California and Texas will become independent as a result.

He continued that Texas and Mexico will form an allied state while Elon Musk will win the presidential elections in a number of states which will have been given to the Republican party. This will happen after the new Civil War, says Medvedev.

While he himself was once president, Medvedev is an ardent Putin loyalist. He was recently appointed as the deputy head of Putin's advisory security council. He is also one of the most vocal supporters of Putin's war in Ukraine.

Among his completely bonkers predictions for 2023 was that the United Kingdom will reverse Brexit and return to the European Union. This in turn will lead to the EU collapsing in 2023.

According to Reuters, the Putin adviser also predicted that France and Germany will be going to war next year. The two countries are currently allied with one another,

He explained that Germany will set up a "Fourth Reich" and it will encompass other countries like "Poland, the Baltic states, Czechia, Slovakia, the Kiev Republic, and other outcasts." In turn, Poland and Hungary would turn on Ukraine and occupy it.

This would somehow lead to the Fourth Reich going to war with France, with much of Europe being divided. As for Poland, it will be repartitioned, just like the time it was divided between the Nazis and the Soviets.

Another one of Medvedev's crazy 2023 predictions involves Ireland. He says that Northern Ireland, which is majority-protestant, will be leaving the U.K. and rejoining the majority-Catholic Republic of Ireland.

He also said that in 2023, the stock market in the U.S. and Europe will transition to Asia and that both the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank would crash. This would bring about the end of the U.S. dollar and the euro.

Elon Musk Reacts to Dmitry Medvedev's Insane Tweets

Medvedev posted those 2023 predictions on Twitter, and they happened to catch the eye of Twitter CEO Elon Musk. He called the post an "epic thread." A few hours, however, Musk went on to say that this was one of the "most absurd predictions" he has ever heard, according to WION.

Musk called the Medvedev posts, which the former Russian President also posted on his Telegram account, as lacking of awareness regarding the "progress of artificial intelligence and sustainable energy."

Musk is certainly no friends with Vladimir Putin and his oligarchs like Medvedev, who has been hawkish in supporting the War in Ukraine.

The Twitter and Tesla CEO has shown strong support for Ukraine, providing 22,000 Starlink antennas to the country. This has supported both military and civilian communications in Ukraine to the detriment of Russia's invasion.
