'Jealous' Texas Man Admits to Killing, Decapitating Nicaraguan Wife Inside Their Home
A 21 -year-old Texas man was arrested after he allegedly killed and decapitated his Nicaraguan wife, authorities said.
According to Waller County Sheriff Troy Guidry, Jared Dicus was charged with murder for the death of his 21-year-old wife, Anggy Diaz, an immigrant from Nicaragua.
Police found Diaz's decapitated body on Wednesday afternoon in their rural Magnolia home, some 44 miles northwest of Houston.
Guidry called the crime "gruesome." He noted that they were still trying to determine Dicus's motive for killing and decapitating Diaz, the Associated Press reported.

Texas Man Confesses to Murdering His Nicaraguan Wife
Police reportedly found Jared Dicus at the crime scene. Deputies were called to the home before 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, reporting a dead woman.
Troy Guidry said it was Discus' father who "immediately called" the cops after seeing Anggy Diaz's body.
When they arrived at the scene, they found the suspect inside their home behind his parents' home. Investigators believed the Texas man used a kitchen knife to kill his Nicaraguan wife.
Authorities later found Diaz's head appeared to have been cut off, and her headless body was discovered inside the house.
Guidry told reporters that Dicus was taken in for questioning and confessed to the killing but did not disclose why he did it. Guidry noted that they were still trying to determine a motive.
The sheriff admitted that there were calls of disturbances made from the couple's home, but not to this "level of violence," according to KHOU 11.
"That's the world we live in today. It's a gruesome scene... Both sides of these families will be altered by it," Guidry noted.
Diaz's friends told KHOU 11 that she was from Nicaragua and was working two jobs to pay for the cancer treatment of her mom back home.
Her co-workers described her as a "young woman full of joy and said she was always smiling."
She worked at the Chepes meat market, a Hispanic store and restaurant, and recently started as a fitness coach.
New Video Shows Texas Man Stealing Beer During Day of the Murder
Jared Dicus and Anggy Diaz got married last October after they met at her job. Diaz's friends said they could tell something was not right after the wedding, but they never expected it to end this way.
Before his arrest, video footage at the Chepes meat market showed Dicus arriving in his car wearing a T-shirt and jeans.
Another video footage showed him grabbing a beer from the fridge and leaving the store without paying for it as he casually walked by the counter.
The Texas man then went outside and back to the parking lot, where he began drinking the beer he stole right outside his car before finally driving away.
A friend of Diaz's told the New York Post that Dicus was a "jealous" husband. The pal noted that "out of nowhere," the suspect posted a video on social media, saying, "she is mine.'
Diaz's friend, also a former co-worker, noted that during their Christmas party less than a month ago, Dicus stormed out of the party looking very upset.
The friend believes that the couple was dealing with an issue of domestic violence.
