Cher and Alexander Edwards appear very much in love, with the singer spotted happily displaying the stunning diamond ring that her boyfriend gifted her.

According to PEOPLE, Cher, 76, proudly displayed the dazzling diamond ring the 36-year-old music executive gifted to her on Christmas Day on Thursday night when they went out for dinner in Beverly Hills.

As Cher walked into the Mediterranean restaurant Avra, she smiled and showed off the outside of her hand.

The pair also reportedly went to a party for M.A.C. Cosmetics' new Hyper Real skincare line in Los Angeles.

The pop icon tweeted a picture of the engagement-like diamond ring on December 25 and revealed that Edwards gave it to her.

The photo quickly generated engagement rumors, prompting Cher to repost the image after a few hours to explain that she posted it "cause his nails are so cool."

Cher Deeply In-Love with Boyfriend, Alexander Edwards?

During an appearance on "The Kelly Clarkson Show" a month ago, Cher made light of the 40-year age difference between her and her new boyfriend.

"Well, on paper, it's kind of ridiculous,' but in real life, we get along great. He's fabulous, and I don't give men qualities they don't deserve," Cher noted.

She complimented the Def Jam music producer by saying he was smart, talented, and funny.

"I think he's quite handsome... If I hadn't met younger men in my life, I would have never had a date because older men just didn't like me all that much, do you know what I mean?" she added.

Cher also revealed that she had dated men her age before realizing they did not like her for some reason.

Cher rose to prominence in the 1960s. Her mentor was her first husband, Sonny Bono, whom she met when she was 16, and he was 28.

In the mid-1970s, she sought divorce based on the grounds of "involuntary servitude" as their relationship collapsed, according to The Daily Mail.

During an interview with Kelly, she noted that younger men do not care if you are hilarious or outrageous and want to do dumb things or if you have a strong personality.

"I am not going to change who I am for anyone, okay?" Cher added.

Cher announced last month on Instagram that she was dating Alexander Edwards, ending months of speculation.

Cher and Alexander Edwards were seen holding hands outside Craig's in West Hollywood, California, in November, sparking dating rumors.

Several people pointed out the 40-year age difference between them, but Cher tweeted, "Love doesn't know math."

Following this, she tweeted, "I'm not defending us. Haters are gonna hate. Doesn't matter that we're happy and not bothering anyone," along with Edwards' photo with a heart emoji.

"As we all know, I wasn't born yesterday, and what I know for sure there are no guarantees. Anytime you make a choice, you take a chance. I've always taken chances. It's who I am," she added.

Cher has been married twice before, to the late Sonny Bono and Gregg Allman, with whom she had boys named Chaz and Elijah, respectively, according to Page Six.

On the other hand, Alexander Edwards dated her ex-girlfriend, Amber Rose, for three years before they broke up due to his alleged frequent infidelity.
