Khloe Kardashian is grieving the death of Andrea Thompson, the mother of her ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson, and she penned a heartfelt tribute for her.

On January 23 or 17 days after her death, the Good American founder took to Instagram to pay tribute to the Toronto native who died from a fatal heart attack.

In her lengthy tribute, Khloe said: "I have been avoiding this... Avoiding accepting this is real. I have so much to say but nothing at all... I have so many emotions and still I feel numb. Life can be brutally unfair at times and This has been one of the toughest times in so many of our lives. But at the same time, I feel blessed that I am lucky to have had someone that makes saying goodbye so incredibly difficult."

She added: "So difficult that I'm choosing not to say goodbye for good because that is something I cannot fathom. Goodbyes for good are something I don't believe in. I KNOW I will see you again. I know I will hear your sweet voice and infectious laugh again. I know I'll get to feel that embrace of yours. I'll see you again with the many that have gone before you that I so desperately miss, love and cherish. So, I'm choosing to say, that until I see you again in Heaven, I miss you and I will continue to miss you more and more every single day."

Khloe also promised to "take care" of Andrea's son and Tristan's brother, Amari. She concluded her message by saying: "'I love you. I love you. I love you."

After news of Andrea's passing broke on January 6, the NBA star's rep confirmed it to HollywoodLife. Following the heart attack, his mother was reportedly taken to a Toronto hospital, where doctors tried to revive her but were ultimately unsuccessful.

Khloe recently accompanied Tristan to Andrea's funeral on January 14. They jetted to his hometown of Toronto with her sister, Kim Kardashian, mom Kris Jenner, and the rapper Drake. According to Daily Mail, Tristan is the oldest of Andrea's four sons, and her youngest, 16-year-old Amari, has epilepsy.

Khloe Kardashian, Tristan Thompson Agreement Regarding Custody of Their Second Baby

Khloe Kardashian is not sharing her second baby's legal custody with the father of the child, Tristan Thompson. The reality star reportedly has sole legal and physical custody of their baby boy. An insider previously told Hollywood Life that the former couple agreed that Khloe will have full custody of their second baby.

"Even though Khloe will have full custody of the baby, she's more than happy for Tristan to be present in their child's life as much as he wants," the source noted.

The insider also revealed how Tristan Thompson felt when his second baby was born. The source said the NBA player was excited because "he really wanted another boy."

Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson Split

Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson split in June 2021 after getting back together around the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. They broke up when another cheating rumor arose.

A source had said that Khloe moved on after discovering that Tristan was expecting a baby with Maralee Nichols. They were reportedly still dating when the NBA player hooked up with Maralee in March 2021. Tristan's cheating history dates back to August 2016, when rumors sparked that the NBA player was two-timing with Khloe and Jordan Craig.

Craig was then pregnant with Tristan's son and gave birth to the child in December of the same year when Khloe and Tristan were in four months of their relationship. A video filmed in October 2017 and surfaced in 2018 also showed Tristan motorboating while kissing two women at a Washington D.C. hookah lounge.

The NBA player was again caught up in another cheating scandal while dating Khloe in April 2018 when he was spotted with Instagram model Lani Blaire. They were seen in video footage that seemed to be kissing.

In 2019, Jordyn Woods, a family friend of the Jenners and Kardashians, was also caught in a cheating scandal with Tristan. Woods earlier said the NBA star kissed her, but no "passion" was involved.

In April last year, Instagram model Sydney Chase said she hooked up with Tristan. She claimed the athlete told her he was single and no longer in a relationship. In June of the same year, Tristan Thompson was seen entering a bedroom with three women at a Los Angeles party.

Khloe Kardashian reportedly gave the NBA player an "ultimatum," saying it "was not a good idea for their daughter to grow up with a father who was disrespectful to women."
