Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson revealed on Instagram that his mother survived a horrific car crash. 

The accident happened on Wednesday evening in Los Angeles, and the famous actor has been very vocal about how miraculous it is that his mother is still alive.

Johnson posted a photo of the wrecked red Cadillac Escalade and expressed his gratitude to God for sparing his mother's life.

"Thank you God, she's ok... Angels of mercy watched over my mom as she was in a car crash late last night. She'll survive and continue to get evaluated," The Rock wrote on Instagram.

The actor added: "This woman has survived lung cancer, tough marriage, a head-on collision with a drunk driver, and attempted suicide. She's a survivor in ways that make angels and miracles real."

Johnson also expressed his appreciation to the police for their assistance, Marca reported. The Rock thanked the LAPD and LAFD for being "so caring," staying on the phone, and talking him through the incident.

"I got one parent left, so if you still got your mom and dad make sure you hug 'em hard, cos you never know when you'll get that 3am call we never want to get," he concluded.

His father, the WWE legend Rocky Johnson, died in 2020 at 75. The 50-year-old actor has documented many instances in which he has given back his mother with earnings from his Hollywood blockbuster roles, The Independent reported.

The Rock Talks About His Mother's Near-Death Experience

This is not the first time that The Rock's mother had a brush with death. In 2018, the actor talked about his role in preventing his mom, Ata Johnson, from taking her own life, TODAY reported.

Dyawne Johnson said his mother "tried to check out" when he was only 15. He noted that her mom got out of the car in the middle of Interstate 65 in Nashville and walked into oncoming traffic. 

Fortunately, the actor's mom was not hurt by cars and trucks "swerving outta the way not to hit her."

The Rock said he grabbed his mom and pulled her back onto the gravel shoulder of the road. He noted that the bizarre thing about his mother's suicide attempt was that she did not remember it.

"She has no recollection of it whatsoever... Probably best she doesn't," the actor said.

The Rock Might Appear at Wrestle Mania 39

The Rock has been away from WWE for some time as he focuses on acting.

However, Wrestling Observer Newsletter's Dave Meltzer claimed that even though he will not be a part of the main event for a match, his appearance at the grandest stage has yet to be ruled out, Sports Rush reported.

The report noted that The Rock will most likely appear at WrestleMania because the event will be hosted in Los Angeles, where he spends most of his time.

Many big names, like John Cena and The Rock, have been speculated to make cameos at this year's WrestleMania because it will be held in Hollywood in Los Angeles.

However, there's still no confirmation right now, so The Rock's return to WWE's WrestleMania 39 is still up in the air.
