Patrick Mahomes's wife, Britanny Mahomes, recently caught the attention of NFL fans after she admitted that she buys the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback lucky red underwear for game day.

In a resurfaced podcast interview, Brittany revealed that she bought her husband "red underwear from Lululemon," and Patrick has worn it since every game day, according to New York Post. She also admitted to dealing with a fair share of NFL groupies but shrugged it off and said she tried not to "worry about it or get involved."

The couple recently moved to Kansas City when Patrick joined the team in 2017. The two now have a 23-month-old daughter, Sterling Skye, and a 10-week-old son, Bronze.

Brittany also talked about in the 2018 podcast "Shootin' It With Sophie Julia" how she and his NFL quarterback husband met while growing up in Texas. She said it was in high school that she and her husband started clicking and eventually began dating.

Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes Relationship

Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes first met when they were teenagers and had a long-distance relationship while they were both pursuing their collegiate athletic careers.

PEOPLE reported that Brittany had competed internationally as a pro soccer player in Iceland, while Patrick is known for being the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback.

The two attended their high school prom together during their high school years. Upon graduation, Brittany chose to go to the University of Texas for college, where she played soccer. A year later, Patrick chose Texas Tech University.

In February 2021, Patrick and Brittany welcomed their daughter, Sterling Skye. They then decided to get married a year later in Maui, Hawaii, with Sterling serving as the pair's flower girl.

In 2022, they announced they were again expecting another baby and later said they were having a baby boy. They welcomed their second child, a son, in November 2022.

Aside from being a well-known quarterback, Patrick Mahomes also played on a baseball team for at least a few years during his time at Texas Tech. In the 2014 MLB Draft, the Detroit Tigers chose Patrick, who eventually turned them down to pursue his dreams on the gridiron. 

Tigers scout Tom Grieve said they selected Patrick as they know he will play football. However, the scout went on to say that they wanted to be the team ahead in making a relationship, so if Patrick made a career shift and wanted to play baseball, they would have their "foot in the door."

According to ESPN, Patrick won the Associated Press Most Valuable Player Award at the NFL Honors program on Thursday night. Meanwhile, Brittany is now a certified personal trainer and fitness entrepreneur who launched an online training program in 2019. She also received her Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology from UT Tyler.
