King Charles was reportedly cutting out budgets in an attempt to evict his younger brother Prince Andrew from his Windsor home.

The disgraced Duke of York was reported to have told his friends that without hundreds of thousands of pounds a year from King Charles, he will not be able to live in the Royal Lodge and will have to move out by September, according to Daily Mail.

The Windsor home features a 30-room property requiring extensive work. However, Andrew stopped receiving public money when he stepped down from royal duties in 2019 after accusations of sexual assault.

Before Queen Elizabeth passed away, Andrew relied on the support from his mother with private funds from the Ducky of Lancaster. It was reported to be worth £249,000 a year.

Andrew's inner circle said that they feel he has been targeted as his only other income is a Navy pension, which was not particularly huge.

One friend of Andrew's said it felt as if "his brother wishes to evict him."

Another one noted that Andrew was not directly being told to be out of the Windsor home, but without the funding, it would be hard to pay for the maintenance.

Prince Andrew Scandal

Andrew was accused of sexual abuse in a civil case in the United States, with the accuser identified as Virginia Giuffre.

He settled the case against him and agreed to make a significant amount of donation to Giuffre's charity, which supports victims' rights.

A royal source said in February last year that Andrew will no longer be called His Royal Highness.

He also lost a number of his U.K. military titles, such as Colonel of the Grenadier Guards, Honorary air commodore of RAF Lossiemouth, Colonel-in-chief of the Royal Irish Regiment, and Colonel-in-chief of The Royal Lancers, among many others.

Charles recently evicted his own younger brother from Buckingham Palace in January.

One source told The Sun that Charles has made it clear that "Buckingham Palace is no place for Prince Andrew."

Andrew first lost his office, and eventually, his sleeping quarters.

The Palace is reportedly under £369 million ten-year rebuilding project.

King Charles Coronation

Charles's coronation will be held on May 6 this year at Westminster Abbey in London, and he will be crowned alongside Camilla as the Queen Consort.

The coronation will be followed by a festive weekend on May 7, with Charles reportedly adding two artists to perform their repertoire.

An organizer of the event noted that the King has "suggested a number of people he would like to perform," which included Adele and Ed Sheeran.

However, according to a report, the two artists have declined the invitation, as cited by Marie Claire.

Other invited visitors to the coronation include his younger son, Prince Harry, and the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle.

Royal correspondent Tom Skyes noted that Charles will not have the time to organize a special meeting with Harry but clarified that Charles "adores Harry and wants him" to be in his coronation.
