Eva Longoria's husband, Jose Baston, was born on April 13, 1968, to parents Ricardo Alfredo Baston Talamantes and Gloria Patino in Mexico City, Mexico.
Baston keeps his early life private, but records show he became a successful businessman when he grew up, according to Hola. He was appointed director of Grupo Televisa, S.A.B., one of Latin America's biggest media companies, in 2011.
The company is known for being the leading producer of Spanish-language content, including telenovelas that have become iconic. Baston also became a member of Univision's board of directors and the president of the global TV business information and networking platform, International Television and Contents.
Despite his impressive career, the media mogul began making headlines after his relationship with the internationally acclaimed actress and entrepreneur Eva Longoria was reported. Longoria appeared as a special guest on the 2009 Mexican Teletón, where the two first crossed paths.
A mutual friend brought them back together in 2013 when they were both single. They began dating secretly, but their love for one another eventually led them to go public. The couple was first seen holding hands on the red carpet at a Mexico City event in November 2013.

Following her divorce from Tony Parker, Eva Longoria said her decision to remain single for a while was what allowed her to fall in love with Jose Baston.
"I learned to be content on my own... I think I needed that to be ready for what I have with Pepe [Baston]," the actress told PEOPLE.
The two became engaged in 2015 after they began dating for about two years. Baston proposed to Longoria while they were on their vacation in Dubai.
