Michael Pena was not in "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania," disappointing fans worldwide as his character, Luis, was one of the most entertaining characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Luis gained notoriety for his entertaining narrations, making him a fan-favorite character, with people looking forward to his appearance in "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania."

However, he never appeared, with Marvel Studios admitting they did not add Luis as it did not make any sense in the story. According to Collider, Pena did not know his character's fate post-Thanos snap.

"Dude, you know what? I have no idea. Ant-Man 3 is not going to be shot for another year or so. After my involvement in the first two Ant-Man movies, we really won't even know what's going to happen until one to two months before we film," the Mexican-American actor told The Hollywood Reporter in a 2020 interview.

5 Michael Pena Movies to Watch After Ant-Man 3 Fail

While Michael Pena was not in the third Ant-Man movie, he did appear in a number of films. Here are five of them to binge-watch.

Tom & Jerry (2021)

Michael Pena surprisingly plays the main antagonist in this hybrid live-action and animated film, "Tom & Jerry."

His character, Terrance, is the boss of Tom, as well as Chloe Grace Moretz's character, Kayla. Pena plays a typical bad boss, often threatening Tom if he cannot catch Jerry.

Dora and the Lost City of Gold

Michael Pena plays Dora's father in this movie. He is one of the iconic children's character's reasons why she is an explorer. Like Dora, her father and Pena's character, Cole Marquez, is a jungle explorer.

He is also Diego's uncle. Dora must rescue him and her mother, played by Eva Longoria, from the Lost City of Gold after they mysteriously go missing.

Secret Headquarters

Like in Tom and Jerry, Michael Pena is also the main villain in this movie. However, this role is much more sinister, playing a weapons CEO named Ansel Argon. Pena wants to use the powers of the protagonist superhero, The Guard, played by Owen Wilson, for his own nefarious purposes.

Cesar Chavez

In this 2014 Mexican-American biographical film, Michael Pena stars as American labor leader Cesar Chavez, the co-founder of the United Farm Workers of America.

The film centers around the historic labor leader's efforts to organize 50,000 farm workers in California, including temporary workers from Mexico suffering racism and poor working conditions.

American Hustle

Michael Pena stars in this critically acclaimed film as part of an ensemble cast that includes Bradley Cooper, Christian Baale, Jeremy Renner, Amy Adams, and Jennifer Lawrence.

In this film, he plays Mexican-American FBI agent Paco Hernandez who must play a man known as Sheikh Abdullah as part of a sting operation.
