President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. met today with President Alberto Fernández of Argentina at the White House.

The two leaders discussed the second Summit for Democracy currently underway, and committed to cooperate to strengthen democratic institutions and good governance practices in the region.

President Biden and President Fernández also discussed cooperation between the United States and Argentina to continue supporting the people of Ukraine and to respond to the consequences of Russia's brutal invasion, including on food security.
