Following the Donald Trump indictment, the former president's followers flocked to his West Palm Beach golf course Sunday to show their support for the embattled politician.

The crowd informed WPEC that they had heard he was playing golf in the area and would do anything to see him, according to News Channel 9.

Trump was indicted by a New York grand jury last week for his alleged hush money payment to porn actress Stormy Daniels in the run-up to the 2016 election to silence her about an affair she claims to have had with Trump soon after the birth of their son Barron.

The charges against him are reportedly connected to business records in Manhattan. Still, the case also raises the possibility that the hush money payments may have been behind the suppression of crucial election-related information.

"Regardless of what people have said, this man has been given a raw deal. This indictment is a sham," said a supporter outside Mar-a-Lago.

Donald Trump Supporters Say He'll Win Even if Jailed

Passing motorists honked their horns and yelled their approval as many supporters wore red "Make America Great Again" hats, waving flags bearing Trump's image and campaign slogans.

On the other hand, one woman yelled "lock him up!" repeatedly from a passing car as she swore at the pro-Trump gathering, while some motorists spewed insults and made obscene gestures.

Across the water, a boat has the slogans "Trust the plan" and "Trump or death" hanging from its flagpole.

The Trump supporters' explanations for their loyalty to the president ranged from the president's supposed positive impact on local companies to his purported fight against "communists" and the "deep state," they told BBC.

Others, following the lead of prominent Republicans, have accused Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who is leading the investigation against Trump, of "weaponizing" the legislation for partisan ends.

It was a common refrain among the protesters: "The Democrats are trying to make an example out of him, to show that they're in control."

Another woman who requested anonymity said that some Trump supporters in her circle of friends interpreted the Donald Trump indictment as evidence that the Democrats were anxious about his popularity.

"Even if he's in jail, he can still run, and he can still win. No matter what," she said. "We love Trump and hope God has him in his hands."

Skateboarders Wreak Havoc During Pro-Donald Trump Rally in Huntington Beach

Fighting broke out between skateboarders and Donald Trump supporters at the Huntington Beach Pier, injuring at least two and leading to one arrest, FOX LA noted.

In video footage from the incident, people were slamming each other with skateboards.

The fight was reported at about 12:30 Saturday afternoon, said Huntington Beach Police Department spokesman Jessica Cuchilla.

"The HBPD responded to Pier Plaza regarding an altercation," Cuchilla said. "One individual reported minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital."

Another man was detained following the fight.

The pro-Donald Trump rally, which drew about 50 people, was peaceful for the most part, Cuchilla said.

Protesters shouted, "God bless Trump!" and waved "Make America Great Again" flags as they declared Huntington Beach to be a "MAGA Country."
