King Charles had an agreement with his eldest son Prince William to never meet Prince Harry alone again after the Oprah interview, according to a new book.

The revelation comes in a new book, entitled "Our King: Charles III-The Man and The Monarch Revealed." It was written by Robert Jobson, according to the Daily Mail.

Senior royals agreed that "dramatic steps" are required to be taken after claims of racism and mistreatment came from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in their March 2021 Oprah interview.

It was reported that the two felt and decided that the duke "could no longer be trusted" and could no longer meet with him alone due to fears that the conversations would be remembered differently.

On top of the Oprah interview, Harry's most-bought memoir "Spare" also caused tension among his family.

It was reported that Prince William was the "most upset" member of the royal family by the claims laid out in Harry's memoir.

Prince William and Prince Harry Relationship

The gap in the relationship between the brothers widened when Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, announced that they would be stepping back from their senior royal duties. Sources noted that William "was blindsided" by the decision of the two.

Cosmopolitan reported that a joint statement from two parties noted that the stories about the princes' strained relationship were false.

A source said, despite the denials, that William "is so tired and done with the drama of it all," referring to his brother's decision to step away from the royal life.

William was also reportedly unhappy after Harry and Markle signed a multimillion-dollar deal with Netflix.

In March 2021, the Sussexes opened up about their lives as royals during an Oprah interview.

Prince Harry took it as an opportunity to clear his relationship with his brother, saying that he loves William and that they have been "to hell together," but right now, they are on "different paths."

It is not yet known if the two will see each other once again at their father's coronation.

King Charles's Coronation

More than 850 community representatives and key workers are being invited to the coronation in acknowledgment of their work.

The invitees include 450 recipients of British Empire medals. It will also include 400 young people from organizations chosen by the King and Queen, as detailed by CNN.

Aside from changes in the processional routes, carriages, and coronation regalia, there will also be a new emoji designed to mark the celebrations. It will be based on St. Edward's Crown and will be used on Twitter.

Meanwhile, King Charles recently agreed to cooperate with an independent study looking at the British monarchy and its ties to the slave trade in the 17th and 18th centuries.

BBC noted that the study is done by the University of Manchester with Historic Royal Palaces, with Buckingham Palace saying that Charles looks at the matter "profoundly seriously."
