A feud is reportedly brewing between Ben Affleck's wife, Jennifer Lopez, and his former wife, Jennifer Garner.

According to RadarOnline, the feud between Affleck's two women started when Garner implied Lopez for turning the actor into a laughingstock. A source familiar with the situation has reportedly denied the accusations.

However, other insiders told the outlet that the Puerto Rican-born actress would love to reveal what she thinks after Garner said she does not like to see stories about the celebrity couple dubbed "Bennifer" in the press, even if they are good ones.

"I really work hard not to see either of us in the press... It doesn't make me feel good, even if it's something nice about one of us," Garner said about her and Affleck. 

The "Elektra" star added: "I don't need to see anyone in my family made into a meme. Although, I'm sure he's quite meme-worthy, yes!"

An insider told RadarOnline that the remark was a "real f--k you as far as JLo sees it." The source further noted that it was Garner's saying that Affleck looks miserable and "all his appearances in public are lame."

From Lopez's view, it was reportedly difficult not to take the remark as a personal attack. The insider noted that "part of her wants to fire back and tell Jennifer off, but she's smart enough not to make too much of a scene publicly."

Ben Affleck Playing Referee Between Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Garner

According to the source, it will be up to Ben Affleck "to play referee," adding that "it's Ben's worst nightmare," MARCA reported. Jennifer Garner is the mother of Affleck's three children.

It was reported earlier this year that Garner was focusing on ensuring her children had a positive relationship with their new stepmother, Jennifer Lopez.

However, insiders revealed that the dynamic may have changed after Garner became Affleck's support system amid reports that the "Batman" actor and the Latina actress were having trouble in paradise.

There were reports that Affleck and Lopez have been facing marital problems since they got married last summer, Fandom Wire reported.

Sources previously told RadarOnline that things quickly began to sour between Bennifer due to the actress' nagging on what he can and can't wear and the actor's smoking habit.

Ben Affleck, who attended the Grammys 2023 awards ceremony in February, seemed unhappy and looked miserable throughout the show. 

The actor-director, known for his habitual frown and sullen demeanor while smoking, was spotted by the cameras several times during the show, sitting glumly next to his wife. Many viewers saw Affleck as having no interest in being at Crypto.com Arena, where the Grammys 2023 awards ceremony was held.

Musical icons like Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, and Missy Elliott gave their all on stage, while more contemporary artists like Kacey Musgraves and Quavo delivered moving tributes to late musical legends.

However, Affleck made a steadfast commitment to looking bored, and the netizens were amused. The actor looking painfully bored at the Grammys was turned into a "Sad Affleck" meme that went viral.

In March, Affleck explained to The Hollywood Reporter that he knew they were framing him and his wife in the shot he was captured looking bored in the first row of the Grammys 2023 audience with host Noah Trevor, "but I didn't know they were rolling."

He added: "I leaned into her and I was like, 'As soon they start rolling, I'm going to slide away from you and leave you sitting next to Trevor.' She goes, 'You better fucking not leave.' That's a husband-and-wife thing."

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck rekindled their romance in April 2021, shortly after the Latina superstar ended things with ex-fiance Alex Rodriguez. After one year of dating, Affleck popped the question for the second time.

Their first wedding happened in a late-night Las Vegas drive-through chapel last July 16, while their second wedding was held at the actor's estate in Riceboro, Georgia, after a month or on August 20.
