MMA Star Nate Diaz Wanted by New Orleans Police After Alleged Brawl Outside Bar
Following an altercation outside a bar on Friday, New Orleans police have issued an arrest warrant for MMA star Nate Diaz.
According to Yahoo! Sports, a police spokesperson told MMA Fighting that the warrant issued on Monday was for suspicion of second-degree battery. However, Diaz has not yet been arrested, and his whereabouts are unknown.
Diaz was allegedly caught on camera choking out social media personality Rodney Petersen in a fight outside a New Orleans bar on Friday night.
Petersen dropped to the ground unconscious after Diaz allegedly kneed him and choked him.

Petersen later took to social media to show the head injury, saying he sustained it in the fight, and vowed to retaliate. Diaz went to New Orleans, Louisiana, on Friday to watch longtime teammate Chris Avila at Misfits Boxing 6.
In the co-main event, Avila defeated Paul Bamba by unanimous decision. However, Diaz got into a separate confrontation with Netflix reality star Chase DeMoor during that event.
Diaz was sitting on the floor and then suddenly turned and threw a water bottle at DeMoor. It sparked a brief altercation before Diaz was eventually escorted out of the arena.

MMA Star Nate Diaz's Representatives Reacts on Arrest Warrant Issued in New Orleans
Representatives for Nate Diaz have responded to the arrest warrant issued for him. The UFC veteran's representative, Zach Rosenfield, confirmed to MMA Fighting that Diaz has been served with an arrest warrant.
Rosenfield also claimed that Diaz's attorney Walter Becker has been in touch with court authorities in New Orleans.
Rosenfield further noted that "trained fighter" Rodney Petersen "aggressively pursued" Diaz with the intention to fight him. Once they did, Diaz acted in self-defense.
"No further comment will be made at this time," the lawyer concluded. In Louisiana, a second-degree battery is a felony punishable by up to eight years in prison "with or without hard labor," and a $2,000 fine.
There has been no word yet when the MMA star will surrender to New Orleans police based on the arrest warrant.
MMA Star Nate Diaz to Face Jake Paul on a Brawl Set in August
Officials confirmed to ESPN on Wednesday that the August 5 boxing match between YouTube star-turned-prizefighter Jake Paul and MMA star Nate Diaz will happen at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.
The fight is set to take place at 185 pounds and eight rounds using 10-ounce gloves. DAZN will distribute the pay-per-view fight around the world.
Diaz's Real Fight Inc. and Paul's Most Valuable Promotions are teaming up to put on the event. Diaz has never advertised himself before, and this will be his first professional boxing match and first fight outside the UFC in 15 years.
Paul has made a name as a boxing draw despite his experience level. Diaz has fought in some of the greatest pay-per-view events in UFC history. Over the past 18 months, Nate Diaz and Jake Paul have traded insults on social media and in interviews.
During a boxing event headlined by UFC star Anderson Silva and Paul in October, Diaz's squad and Paul's team got into a fight backstage. After defeating Silva, Paul challenged Diaz in the post-fight interview.
