Warriors: Kevin Durant, NBA Stars Go Crazy Over Stephen Curry's 50-Piece
The record-breaking 50 points of Stephen Curry secured a win for the Golden State Warriors against the Sacramento Kings on Sunday, sending his team to the NBA Western Conference Semifinals. .
According to CBS Sports, Curry not only set a new playoff career-high but also set a record for any player in any game, breaking the mark set by his ex-teammate Kevin Durant, who made 48 points in an overtime game for the Brooklyn Nets in 2019.
During Sunday's Game 7, Curry made the win for the Warriors with a 120-100 win. The Kings had managed to keep close to the Warriors for six-and-a-half games.
Aside from Curry, Kevon Looney also played a role in clinching a victory for the Warriors with his 21 rebounds, 11 points, and four assists.

Yahoo! Sports reported that Curry finished the first half with 20 points, four rebounds, and three assists, while Domantas Sabonis delivered 18 points for the Sacramento Kings.
Klay Thompson was not having his day after he had just seven points in the first 24 minutes and started the game 1 of 10 from the field.
Thompson also failed to deliver his first four three-point attempts, ending the game with a collective 16 points.
The Kings' De'Aaron Dox finished with 16 points. The Game 7 win for the Golden State Warriors would mean they are now 19-0 playoff series against Western Conference opponents.
Sabonis shot 61.5% from the field and 37.3% from three-point range in the regular season.
On the other hand, Harrison Barnes shot 47.4% from the field and 37.4% from three-point range in the regular season. Barnes has won a championship before.
NBA Playoffs
The NBA playoffs' second round started on Saturday night in the West, with Miami Heat beating the Knicks with a 108-101 score.
CBS Sports reported that the Suns and Nuggets will have their second game on May 1, while the 76ers and Celtics will have their Game 1 on the same day.
Los Angeles Lakers snatched a place in the playoffs after winning against Grizzlies with a 125-85 point.
Celtics also won against the Hawks on April 27 with 128-120 points. Nuggets and Suns had their first game on April 29, with Denver winning against their opponent with a 125-107.
Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics faced each other during the NBA Playoffs 2022. Golden State won the games with a 4-2 victory.
Boston faced Miami Heat before heading straight to the finals, while Golden State Warriors played against Dallas before it won the championship of the NBA Playoffs 2022.
