Robert De Niro shocked the world when he revealed in an interview earlier this week that he "just had a baby" with his girlfriend, Tiffany Chen.

According to Daily Mail, Chen, 45, was spotted out with their newborn baby just days after the 79-year-old iconic actor announced he welcomed his seventh child.

Chen was photographed by the outlet holding her little one to her chest while walking in New York City on Wednesday, accompanied by a male assistant who pushed the stroller.

De Niro's baby was wrapped in a pink onesie and a white blanket. However, the child's name and gender have yet to be revealed.

On the other hand, Chen wore a gray tracksuit, an oversized black T-shirt, and sneakers, and she appeared to blend in with the crowd with the help of sunglasses and a surgical mask.

Unfortunately, the busy, noisy streets of the city were a bit much for the baby, who was once seen crying in Chen's arms during the outing.

The pregnancy of De Niro's girlfriend was not publicly known until she was photographed with a baby bump last month while out on a dinner date.

The actor's announcement of the new addition to their family surprised and shocked many, but he told Page Six that the couple had planned to expand their family.

Robert De Niro is now one of the oldest male celebrities to become a father again, like Mick Jagger, Steve Martin, and Alec Baldwin.

Despite the challenges of caring for a newborn at his age, the "Raging Bull" star seemed unfazed. He already dealt with fatherhood at a late age with the birth of his daughter Helen Grace in 2011 when he was 68.

While De Niro could get some help from his much younger girlfriend, Tiffany Chen, or a caregiver, he can also seek emotional support from other well-known older fathers.

According to Mercury News, several other renowned and wealthy men who became fathers late in life did not have much time with their newborns. Despite this, De Niro seems ready to embrace the challenge of raising another child, even at an older age.

Robert De Niro's Girlfriend, Tiffany Chen

Tiffany Chen is a skilled kickboxer who comes from a family of Kung Fu and Tai Chi masters, according to Fox News. Chen has won numerous international medals for her martial arts prowess and works as a teacher at her father's Tai Chi academy.

In an interview with Inside Kung-Fu magazine, Chen said she never practiced Tai Chi with the intention of fighting, but a physical altercation with another student led her to embrace the sport.

According to Chen, surrounding oneself with positive influences is vital to success. 

"I surround myself with generous, beautiful people," she said, adding that having positive individuals in your life generates a mutually beneficial relationship that improves the standard of living for everyone involved.

Chen first met De Niro on the set of his movie, "The Intern," in 2015, when she was spotted giving a Tai Chi lesson to him and co-star Anne Hathaway. However, the couple started dating years later.

In 2021, De Niro and Chen sparked dating rumors after they were seen leaving the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes while celebrating the actor's 78th birthday.
