Shakira is now rumored to be dating NBA star Jimmy Butler, months after her messy breakup with ex-partner Gerard Pique.

According to The US Sun, this dating rumor started to swirl after the Colombian superstar was spotted Sunday at the Kaseya Center in Miami, where Game 3 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals was held.

She watched Butler and other players of the Miami Heat beat and pushed the Boston Celtics to the brink of elimination following a blowout Game 3 win, 128-102.

Shakira even shared a video on her Instagram in which she was cheering on Miami Heat. She accompanied it with the caption: "Let's go Heat!"

Several media outlets then started reporting that there could be a connection between Shakira and the Miami Heat star, with Overtime asking in a video published on their Twitter: "Are Jimmy Butler and Shakira a thing?"

Fueling further speculation, many have observed that Shakira and Butler followed one another on Instagram following the game. They believed this was potentially notable as the Colombian pop star only follows a few people, or 159 to be exact.

On Tuesday night, Miami Heat played their fourth game in the "Best of 7" final series against the Boston Celtics. And once again, Shakira and her two sons surprisingly made another appearance at the Kaseya Center.

However, this time, Boston Celtics beat Butler's Miami Heat, 116-99. According to The US Sun, this dating rumor seems unlikely to be true, given that Butler and model Kaitlin Nowak have reportedly been dating since 2019.

The pair only keep their lives private, rarely sharing pictures together on social media, or even their daughter, Rylee Butler.

Shakira has been linked to two men in recent weeks. A day after she seemingly blasted Gerard Pique in her "Woman of the Year" speech, she was spotted hanging out with Tom Cruise at the F1 Miami Grand Prix 2023.

A source told Page Six that the Hollywood A-lister and the Colombian singer were spotted getting friendly with each other during the big race earlier this month.

The insider noted that Tom and Shakira left the starting grid early to spend time with one another inside a private hospitality suite. The two stars were reportedly "escorted off the track by security while drivers were still being introduced ahead of the race."

A fan then recorded a video of Tom and Shakira having an "animated conversation" in the VIP area. One of the "Hips Don't Lie" singer's sons was reportedly with them.

While there was no proof that they were dating, the pair still sparked dating rumors after being spotted together in Miami, as both stars are reportedly single.

According to Marca, Cruise had been "absolutely mesmerized" by Shakira, and the actor even told his "close circle he felt a connection with her that he wanted to explore."

Unfortunately for him, Heat magazine reported that Shakira had been "begging him to stop flirting with her." Shakira has also been linked to seven-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton.

The pair were recently spotted enjoying a meal together before he picked her up in his luxury boat from her Miami mansion days later. However, The Sun has reported that the two remain just friends.

Shakira and Gerard Pique's Messy Breakup

Shakira and Gerard Pique ended their 11-year relationship in June before he went official with Clara Chia Marti. Before their bitter breakup, Shakira allegedly hired a private investigator to spy on her ex to confirm her suspicions.

The detective frequently spotted the Spanish football legend hanging out at the club where Clara Chia reportedly worked. Shakira first became suspicious after checking their refrigerator at their five-story Barcelona home.

The Colombian singer allegedly came home to find that her strawberry jam, which Pique did not like, had been eaten.

After they separated, Shakira and Pique agreed that their two sons, Milan and Sasha, would live with their mother in Miami, Florida. On the other hand, Pique can reportedly still see his children 10 days per month, even if Clara Chia is with him.
