Infamous sex trafficker and pedophile Jeffrey Epstein had been having a mental breakdown as he served his prison sentence in his final days. This is what the new details of the events leading to his death have revealed. Meanwhile, new details of his relationship with Prince Andrew also surfaced.

The Associated Press has obtained new information from 4,000 pages worth of documents regarding the final days of Jeffrey Epstein. Just two weeks before he committed suicide, Epstein was reported to sit in the corner of his Manhattan jail cell with his hands over his ears. He was reportedly trying to muffle the sound of a toilet that would not stop running.

In the weeks leading to Jeffrey Epstein's death, the disgraced businessman was said to be "agitated and unable to sleep," and the prison's officials have observed that he was struggling to adapt to life behind bars.

Epstein called himself a coward as he repeatedly complained about his situation, according to jail records. This led to him being placed under psychological observation, as he had tried to take his life around that time. He failed and was placed on suicide watch, but the disgraced financier insisted that he was not suicidal, even telling a psychologist that he had a "wonderful life" and "would be crazy" to end it.

However, soon after, he did take his life. He died on August 10, 2019. Epstein was found unresponsive in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City. The records help dispel the conspiracy theories regarding his death.

According to these records, Epstein excused himself from meeting with his lawyers the night before his death. He reportedly tried to call a "family member," with Epstein reportedly telling a guard that he was calling his mother, who had been dead for 15 years at that point.

After his death, it was revealed that the jail was facing various problems, including "seriously reduced staffing levels, improper or lack of training, and follow up and oversight." It also showed that there were lapses from staff that could have prevented Epstein's suicide.

Jeffrey Epstein Used To 'Entertain' Up To 7 Underaged Girls a Day

Before his arrest, new details about his illegal operations also surfaced, with The Daily Mail reporting that up to seven underaged girls visited him everyday. He reportedly met with several Russian girls throughout one day.

The British publication obtained his private calendars, and it showed that the pedophile had a dentist's chair in his Florida home, as well as his estate in the US Virgin Islands. This showed that he was obsessed with the teeth of children and often sent the girls to a Manhattan orthodontist.

Jeffrey Epstein Helped Out Prince Andrew with Some Financial Troubles

As more news about Epstein surfaced, more details on his relationship with Prince Andrew have also come out. According to She Knows, Epstein was aware that Prince Andrew and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, were dealing with financial troubles, and it seems that it was Epstein who helped them out.

Ferguson, now divorced from the disgraced royal, was down $5.5 million in debt. However, this debt mysteriously vanished in 2011, and this was "thanks to the intervention of Andrew." However, it seems that part of that money was provided by Jeffrey Epstein, around $17,000. It was reportedly because he "owed" her personal assistant.

Reports also showed that Epstein's assistant had some meetings with Ferguson's assistant and Prince Andrew's assistant around that time.
