Donald Trump Promised Supporters Free Food at Miami Restaurant; They Did Not Get Any
After his indictment hearing, where he was charged with 37 crimes, Donald Trump headed to a local Miami restaurant where he promised supporters free food. However, it seems that they did not get any.
The Miami restaurant known as Versailles served Cuban food and is one of the most famous Cuban restaurants out there, and it played host to the Republican frontrunner and former president. There, he declared to Trump supporters, "Food for everyone!" after walking inside.
The Miami New Times noted that Trump probably chose the restaurant to curry favor with Cuban voters. However, right off the bat, he promised free food. The newspaper tried asking patrons if they had received what he had promised and found out he had not.
Trump was only at the famous Miami restaurant for around 10 minutes and left before anyone else could eat anything or even place an order. He left without giving him the free food he promised when he walked in.
It was pointed out that Trump usually preferred KFC and well-done steaks slathered with ketchup but is also known to not pay for his meals, letting others pick up the tab for him. However, Trump may have been in a hurry as he was scheduled to return to Bedminster, New Jersey for his post-arraignment speech.
Ron DeSantis Aiming to Take 'Law and Order' Candidate Away From Donald Trump
Despite the legal troubles he is facing left and right, Donald Trump still touts himself as the "law and order" candidate. Now, Ron DeSantis is seeking to change that.
According to WPTV, DeSantis, who may also be facing legal troubles because of his migrant stunts, pointed out that a 2018 bipartisan criminal justice reform bill that Donald Trump signed into law was responsible for the rising crime in the country. This move is seen to weaken the former president's standing as the "law and order" candidate amongst conservative voters.

Former Trump adviser Steve Cotes, who is now a Ron DeSantis supporter, posted on social media that it was "time for a law and order leader." This was posted on the same day that Donald Trump was arraigned in Miami on federal charges and when he visited that Miami restaurant.
However, Trump supporters quickly stepped up to defend the ex-POTUS. While bipartisanship was rare in the Trump era, the law in question, the bipartisan First Step Act, was praised by Democrats and Republicans alike as aimed to address "inequities in the criminal justice system for first-time offenders with misdemeanors."
Donald Trump Facing 6 Trials Over 4-Month Span
As DeSantis seeks his moniker as the "law and order" candidate, Trump must not just campaign but also face multiple trials as he must appear in six court cases over four months.
According to Politico, he must face E. Jean Carroll in court once again on January 15 next year. Before that, however, he must also face his civil fraud lawsuit in October. And then, on January 29, he must face a federal class action lawsuit that accused him of promoting a pyramid scheme.
Another one will happen on March 25, as he finally faces his Stormy Daniels hush money case. Unlike the others listed above, this is a criminal case, which might mean prison time for Trump. Finally, there is also the classified documents case and Georgia election tampering case, where Trump is expected to be indicted once again.
