Donald Trump Mugshot Released After Ex-POTUS' Arrest For Georgia Election Case
Donald Trump is now officially the first former US president to get his mugshot taken after he turned himself in and was arrested in Fulton County, Georgia on Thursday. That historic image has now been released by the Fulton County Sheriff's Office and can be seen in the image above.
Donald Trump is one of 19 co-defendants accused of illegally scheming to overturn the 2020 election in Georgia. This is now his fourth indictment and unlike his three previous cases, his mugshot was taken per Georgia law. He was also fingerprinted after his arrest at the Fulton County Jail.
The Associated Press noted that the Donald Trump mugshot "instantly becomes part of the former president's legacy as he confronts criminal charges in four American cities while seeking to reclaim the White House." His allies are now using the image to claim that Trump is being unfairly persecuted despite the mounting evidence against him in his various indictments.
As for his opponents, they are likely to use the mugshot as a reminder to voters that it would be dangerous for the country to elect somebody like Donald Trump given his multiple legal troubles and vested interest in using the presidency to deal with these legal troubles.
Trump has already been released from jail after paying his $200,000 bond through a local bail bond firm. He then went back to the airport then rode his private jet back to his golf resort in Bedminster, New Jersey.
Even after his arrest, the former president has insisted that he "did nothing wrong." He also called the case against him in Georgia a "travesty of justice."
"If you challenge an election, you should be able to challenge an election," he told reporters.
All of his election challenges in Georgia ended in defeat, only solidifying that he lost to Joe Biden in the election in Georgia.

Bomb Threat Issued Against Fulton Country Courthouse After Donald Trump Arrest
There were security concerns when Trump turned himself in to Georgia authorities, however, as there was a bomb threat given to Fulton County.
According to The Mirror, the threat was given to the Fulton County courthouse and not the jail where Trump was booked. The Fulton County Sheriff's Office is now investigating the bomb threat. No word yet as to where the bomb threat originated.
Donald Trump Co-Defendant in Georgia Also Charged for Attacking an FBI Agent
One of the lesser-known Trump co-defendants in Georgia is Harrison William Prescott Floyd, a Trump supporter, and member of the group Black Voices for Trump. He was charged in the sprawling RICO case with the former president over the Ruby Freeman, a Fulton County election worker who Trump falsely accused of election fraud.
As it turns out though, Floyd had previously attacked an FBI agent in Maryland. According to the Associated Press, he aggressively confronted two FBI agents who were serving him a subpoena over the federal election investigation against Trump.
"Floyd screamed, cursed and jabbed a finger in one FBI agent's face and twice chest-bumped the agent in a stairwell," stated the affidavit. He only backed down after the other FBI agent opened his suit coat to reveal his holstered gun.
