Lorde Hot New Album and Songs Update: 'Team' Singer Claims Ghosts Haunted Her Recording Sessions
After a highly successful debut album, Lorde is already in the studio working on her next album.
And it seems she may have some strange experiences to write about.
She took to Twitter to explain that there was an otherworldly sound happening when she hit the studio, according to Fashion Times.
ghosts in the studio don't want us to record tonight, they leaving their ghost hum on everything. buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Either way, for her second album we can expect something different.
The 17-year-old from New Zealand explained the first album reflected her upbringing in a suburban neighborhood, where she was surrounded by people who were just like her. But now that she travels and meets new people, her second album will be influenced by that.
"Now I'm in a different place every day and I'm with new people every day and it's a different vibe," she told BBC.
She has also learned a little now that she's been in the music industry.
Lorde is working on things "tentatively," and though she's only just beginning, she can see how different it is.
"I think I've learnt so much as a songwriter, there's going to be so much of an improvement because of that," she said.
One thing that has set Lorde apart from other young singers is how thoughtful she is. It's apparent in her lyrics and also through the way she approaches situations, and she has her eyes on the future.
"Since I started making music, a lot was made of how old I was and it made me think about, what happens when I'm 25?" she said. "Will people still like what I'm doing? Will it still be important if I'm not this hyper-youthful being? It's stupid, I know I'm being silly, but I can't help it. It's just one of those things. I'll get over it."
