Renowned "Succession" actor Alan Ruck was reportedly behind the wheel of an electric Rivian electric truck when he became entangled in a four-car Hollywood crash, ultimately crashing into a California pizza parlor on Tuesday, per SFGate.

Alan Ruck, widely recognized for his role as Cameron in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," was said to have driven the electric Rivian pickup truck into the side of Raffalo's Pizza, a prominent establishment situated in the heart of Hollywood on La Brea Avenue, close to the western end of the Walk of Fame.

When questioned about Ruck's involvement, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Melissa Ohana refrained from confirming the names of the parties involved, stating, "I've read the stories and seen the video, but I can't confirm the names of any of the parties involved."

The incident, which transpired in the 1600 block of North La Brea Avenue, was reported at 9:05 PM.

According to Officer Ohana, it was initiated when the driver of a truck rear-ended another vehicle, setting off a chain reaction.

Subsequently, the second vehicle collided with a third, and the first vehicle struck a fourth before impacting the building.

Alan Ruck's Hollywood Crash

Surveillance footage captured the Rivian electric truck rear-ending a car on La Brea Avenue, according to HuffPost.

This initial collision propelled the second vehicle onto Hollywood Boulevard, where it collided with a third vehicle.

Meanwhile, the Rivian brushed against a fourth vehicle before crashing into Raffallo's Pizza.

Images from the scene depicted the truck having breached the restaurant's wall, and bystanders documented the aftermath on social media platforms like TikTok.

Tim Ratcliff, the owner of nearby restaurants, described the moment as causing the entire building to shake, prompting concerns of a potential explosion.

Ratcliff rushed to the scene and noted that the driver in the Rivian immediately inquired about the well-being of everyone involved.

Alan Ruck, 67, remained on-site and was seen conversing on his phone near the damaged truck as the police assessed the situation.

No Charges Filed

LAPD Sgt. Hector Guzman reported that there were minor injuries but nothing of a life-threatening nature. He confirmed that no charges would be filed as a result of the multi-car Hollywood crash, KTLA noted.

The reasons behind the truck's abrupt forward motion and subsequent collisions remain unclear. Fortunately, no one inside Raffallo's Pizza sustained injuries.

One individual from another vehicle, a 32-year-old man, was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Ruck himself emerged from the incident unharmed.

Ambulances were dispatched to the scene, and two other individuals, a 40-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man, were involved, PEOPLE said.

Aside from the three individuals, there were no other significant injuries reported, and the LAPD ruled out impairment and criminal activity.

Alan Ruck, who recently secured a 2023 Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his role in "Succession," expressed gratitude that there were no fatalities.

His breakthrough came in the 1986 classic comedy "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," where he portrayed the hilariously melancholic Cameron Frye alongside Matthew Broderick.
