Apple released a small update to iOS 7 Monday. It's the second minor update to the iOS 7 operating system.

The update, simply numbered 7.1.2, addressed iBeacon connectivity and stability as well as improving some security issues with email attachments.

When a user updates to 7.1.2, the Bluetooth feature is automatically turned back on, even if they don't want it to be. The user can easily turn it off from the main settings page.

New rumors are also surfacing on the new iOS 8, including a video of an iPhone 6 mockup running iOS 8.

Another Beta Coming Soon

On July 8, iOS 8 Beta 3 will reportedly be released, according to BGR. BGR reported their knowledge of this release is from "their trusted sources."

1Password

Currently only available in beta, 1Password, a Safari extension, can really save an iPhone user some time. That's because passwords will be stored via fingerprint in the Touch ID system. No longer will users have to type in passwords for all the different sites they visit like Amazon, eBay, Gmail and more. They will be prompted to scan their fingerprint and then access to these sites will be granted.

Handoff

Start an email on your iPhone and realized it was going to be longer than you thought? With Handoff, you'll be able finish a task you started on one iOS device and finish it off on another, provided the devices are within proximity of each other.

Use Your Mac Computer as a Phone?

As long as users have a Mac and running on the same Wi-Fi network as their iPhone, they'll be able to make and receive phone calls.

A Snapchat-like Feature?

Self-destructing pictures that disappear right in your iMessage window could be a possibility with iOS 8. When sending a message to your friend, select an image and decide how long you want your friend to be able to view it, after that, it'll disappear.

See How Much Battery Your Apps Are Hogging

You'll now be able to see why your battery is draining so fast by viewing battery usage by app. From there, you'll know when to close apps or to use them sparingly to save on battery.
