What is Tucker Carlson doing months after Fox News fired him? The disgraced former host has announced he is launching his own streaming service to add to the many more already in business.

According to The Guardian, this new Carlson subscription service will be a paid one and will cost $72 a year. He revealed that he had been working on this new service for several months now. It will be called TCN.

"We've been out of work for seven or eight months now," he said in a video post on X, formerly Twitter, noting that his service will stream interviews and commentaries. "Hard to know, time flies when you're unemployed. But actually, we've been working in secret and producing an awful lot of material for months now - interviews, etcetera – and all of it has now found its way to tuckercarlson.com. We're launching a brand-new thing very soon."

Carlson actually announced the new service on "The Megyn Kelly Show" podcast where he told his fellow former Fox News host, "I want to wake up and say to myself, 'You can say whatever you want.'" Much like Carlson, she is also now an independent commentator.

"I'm going to do it without interference, period," he told Kelly. "I'm going to tell the unadorned truth – I hope gently and in the least offensive way as I possibly can. But I'm going to tell the truth until the day I die."

What Shows Will the New Tucker Carlson Streaming Service Offer?

The former Fox News host promised his own streaming platform, which is expected to go against his former employer's Fox Nation, will have a variety of products, including "The Tucker Carlson Encounter," which will be a long-form conversation show. He announced that singer Kid Rock and golfer John Daly are among the first guests.

Another program he will have is "The Tucker Carlson Interview," which promises to be a more formal question-and-answer session, according to the Associated Press. This and "The Tucker Carlson Encounter" will be offered for free via his website, but other programs like "Tucker Carlson Uncensored" and "Tucker Carlson Films" will be behind a paywall.

"Tucker Carlson Uncensored" will be akin to his Fox News monologues while "Tucker Carlson Films" will be his documentary series. Meanwhile, "After The Tucker Carlson Interview" will be his observations from "The Tucker Carlson Interview" and "Ask Tucker Carlson" will be a Q&A show where he answers subscriber questions and gives advice.

Tucker Carlson's firing from Fox News sent shockwaves across all of media as he was fired at the height of his success as the network's top-rated host. However, just days before this happened, Fox News paid a $787 million settlement to Dominion Voting Systems to end their defamation lawsuit claims.

Carlson was among the many Fox News personalities that helped promote falsehoods regarding the 2020 presidential election. According to the BBC, Carlson claimed that his firing was a condition of the settlement. However, both Fox News and Dominion denied these allegations and Carlson has not presented any evidence regarding this claim.
