Donald Trump Goes on Massive Online Rant Ahead of New York Fraud Trial Verdict
As the New York fraud trial verdict against Donald Trump looms, the former president continued whining against the judge and New York Attorney General Letitia James in an online rant on his social media platform, Truth Social.
He continued his usual talking points regarding all his legal problems, including claiming that this is a "witch hunt" despite evidence that he and his company knowingly committed fraud, including recent findings by an independent special monitor of possible tax evasion.
According to The Hill, Trump claimed that the Trump Organization made "only success and profits," before pointing to the "100% Disclaimer and Non-reliance Clause, stating CLEARLY that the reader must do their own analysis and due-diligence."
Trump then called on federal courts to intervene in the case, stating, "It is a great company that has been slandered and maligned by this politically motivated Witch Hunt. It is very unfair, and I call for help from the highest Courts in New York State, or the Federal System, to intercede. THIS IS NOT AMERICA."
In another post, he targeted New York AG Letitia James, calling her "corrupt" and adding that she "sat comfortably and confidently in Court with her shoes off, arms folded, a Starbucks Coffee, and a BIG smile on her face," before going all-caps" saying, "JUST LIKE SHE KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT THE DECISION WILL BE!"
He also continued his rants by attacking Judge Arthur Engoron, claiming without evidence that he had been "badly influenced" by Democrats before seemingly encouraging him to give him a favorable ruling.
"Hopefully, Judge Engoron, who should have never taken this NON JURY Trial, or should have dismissed it long ago, will show that the New York State Judicial System is ALIVE, RESPECTED, AND WELL. GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!" Trump wrote.

Donald Trump Lawyer Blasts Independent Special Monitor for New York Fraud Trial
As Trump blasts the AG and the judge overseeing the case, Donald Trump attorney Clifford Robert criticized the report made by the independent special monitor, former Judge Barbara Jones, claiming that it was "an inaccurate depiction of the firm's finances intended to justify the continued oversight of the company."
Trump attorney Chris Kise also blasted the report in a statement to ABC News, claiming that the independent monitor exaggerated immaterial issues in the Trump Organization's finances to "fill the gaping hole in the Attorney General's case." This is despite the independent monitor saying that she asked the Trump Organization about the discrepancies, and they admitted to them.
Donald Trump New York Fraud Trial Verdict May Spell Death for the Trump Organization
The verdict over the New York fraud trial of Donald Trump is currently being awaited, and many believe this might spell the end of one of New York's most high-profile businesses, the Trump Organization.
In a scathing report by the Associated Press, experts weighed in on the outcome. Columbia University law professor Eric Talley spoke with the outlet and said the possible verdict is "basically a death penalty for a business," especially as Judge Arthur Engoron already made a pre-trial judgment that, based on the evidence already presented, Donald Trump is liable for fraud.
