Far-right Republican Lauren Boebert has been granted a reprieve of sorts after a very bad week last week, as a judge granted a restraining order for her against her ex-husband, Jayson Boebert. This restraining order came after she accused him of threatening to harm her and entering the family's home without permission.

While this was happening, she struggled in the polls in her new congressional district, which she moved into after her divorce from Jayson Boebert. Because of the move to the more "friendly" district, she had been blasted by both Republicans and Democrats.

Boebert has cited that she moved from the Colorado town of Silt to Windsor in her new district because of her current family issues. However, the timing of this move has raised several eyebrows within the Colorado Republican Party as she moved into a deep red district that will soon have its seat vacated.

According to the Associated Press, the restraining order against Jayson Boebert is only temporary at the moment. However, there is a hearing scheduled for Thursday and it may result in a permanent restraining order, as well as protections for the ex-couple's three younger sons.

She reportedly mentioned the incident that happened earlier this year, on January 6, when Jayson Boebert claimed she had hit him. He later recanted, with police saying that his accusations were unfounded and that he was cooperative when police responded at the restaurant where they tussled.

Meanwhile, Jayson Boebert himself spoke to the AP and slammed his ex-wife, saying that she is using the restraining order to move to her new district after struggling in the polls in her previous one.

Straw Poll Is Very Embarrassing to MAGA Darling Lauren Boebert

Things have not been going well for the Republican congresswoman as of late, and this includes her devastating showing in the latest straw poll in her new district, only getting 5th place after earning only 12 out of the 117 votes cast.

This drew some mockery from some of her opponents, including Texas Democratic Rep Jasmine Crockett, who said on Monday, Before I go to bed, I thought it would only be fitting to send 'thoughts & prayers' to my colleague, Lauren Boebert. It's my understanding that she placed 5th in her first straw poll of the election cycle."

She added, "Now how many of y'all think BoBo gonna try to convince us that polls don't matter... of course unless they are trash for Biden & great for Trump!"

Lauren Boebert Feud With Marjorie Taylor Greene Continues Amid Her Recent Personal Troubles

Boebert is not only at odds with Jayson Boebert, but several of her Republican colleagues as well, including fellow MAGA darling, Marjorie Taylor Greene, whom she infamously had a shouting match with on the House floor.

In an interview with The Hill, stated, "I think she's got to earn those people's support. I saw that she came in fifth place in the straw poll over the weekend, which she should be very concerned about." Greene infamously called her a "b*tch" to her face during a House floor argument.
