Lindsay Lohan is suing the makers of "Grand Theft Auto V."

The actress believes her image was used to create a character for the game, and it was done without her permission, notes the Associated Press.

The lawsuit was filed today in Manhattan. The suit says that the character Lacey Jonas was unequivocally based on Lindsay Lohan. Jonas has blonde hair, and she can be seen wearing a hat, off-shoulder shirt and jean shorts. The suit adds that items from her clothing line were also ripped off for the game. Other than looking like her, according to the suit, her voice is also similar to Lohan's. The Chateau Marmont, where Lindsay Lohan has previously lived, was also featured. And the character also tries to get away from the paparazzi.

The game was released in September and on its first day, it made $800 million.

Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. have both declined to comment.

TMZ learned late last year that the actress intended to sue the makers of "Grand Theft Auto V." Her lawyers were drafting a suit in December, notes TMZ.

The website said that some of the evidence for Lohan's side is that the character resembles the actress, though it could possibly also look like Kate Upton. And though part of the game focuses on Jonas' character, The Verge said that she is a very minor character.

Lohan has been working to repair her image, and her next project will see her on the London stage. She will be in the revival of David Mamet's "Speed-the-Plow," notes the LA Times.

She will play a Hollywood executive's secretary, Karen, a role which was first portrayed by Madonna on Broadway in 1988. The shows will begin in September. As of yet, no other cast members have been announced.
